The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Here is a creation inspired by Mod Factory's K-Pico. I was putting a build on my Marquis clone, and as I was staring at its 510 drip-tip adapter, I couldn't help but wonder, "Could it possibly fit on SIlverplay chimney?" Well, it didn't fit on Silverplay chimney. However, it fit snugly on...

    Vapor DNA SilverPlay RTA review

I've been using my Silverplay for over 2 weeks, and I have not had any leaks. If your deck does flood for whatever reasons (ie. bad wicking, tight draw, etc.), it will be leaking from the main air holes before it leaks from the side air holes. I can say with confidence that this is the best...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

I disagree. From many different setups I've experimented with, I've noticed that there is a significant air flow restriction when using Kayfun/Orchid chimney top stack compared to SP 6mm stack. Initially, I didn't notice much difference, because I was using a drip tip with 4mm bore, and the...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Here is my Silverplay setup of the day. - Silverplay deck - Orchid V6 chimney (This is the version where the chimney threads into top cap.) - Kayfun nano kit metal tank section - Kayfun clear mid section - Kayfun 30mm expansion deck - Kayfun 30mm expansion tank - Kanger Aerotank Giant top cap...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

I agree with you. The tank design on Silverplay is quite flawed/ill-executed. But the deck and the chimney more than makes up for it considering its parts compatibility. If I haven't made this clear enough before, I must note here that you can use 6mm SP chimney with Kayfun top cap & tank...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Strange. That fixed it for me. Try switching out the o-ring that holds the AFC with a slightly thicker one.

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

For someone who has been looking for RDA-like experiance from RTAs, I say stock Silverplay edges out my modified Big Buddha on flavor and vapor. Actually, other than what I already mentioned in the previous post, Silverplay is a clear winner in all aspects. The juice capacity for Silverplay is...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

You can tighten the bottom ring with Silverplay logo to tighten the the AFC ring play. Uneven glass section is a known design goof. Thank goodness for parts compatibility.

My pleasure. If you are into tinkering like I am, i suggest that you go ahead and order bunch of o rings as well. I searched the site for Silicon o-rings, and ordered one packet of every size. It cost me about 20 bucks, but they come in real handy if you are into DIYs.

Cool! How do you like Lemo compared to Silverplay? I am especially interested in the flavor and air flow at higher wattages.

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Thanks! It consists of below parts. - Silverplay Deck - SP Chimney & SP upper chimney stack - Rusian 91 top cap (I placed a 510 drip tip o-ring at the end of SP upper chimney stack to create the seal) - Full size M tank, black - Wide bore drip tip, custom made with Kayfun chimney...

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

Does have anyone have any latest detail on SXmini dual battery mode attachment? Release date, price, design, etc.? I remember reading somewhere that they might come out with couple of different designs for this add-on, one with extension tube and another with attachment that matches the...

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

LOL, it's not the prettiest thing, but it sure is functional. I took out the Silverplay tank and glass section, and slid over it a Big Fogger glass tank and used some O-rings to make the seal. It increased the juice capacity to 7ml while retaining the same air flow and height of the...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Stealthy!! Yeah, I love the parts compatibility of Silverplay. I had been an avid Kayfun/Russian collector, and I have tons of accessories and spare parts laying around which I was starting to trade/give away, but since I got SIlverplay, I've been making good use out of Kayfun parts that...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Oops, yes, that's what I meant. Fixed. I've been tinkering a bit with standard Kayfun full/nano quartz kits, and the diameter of the glass is exactly same as the Silverplay top cap, and it will require some special gasket or o-ring in order to make the seal even if you somehow made the top cap...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

Nice! I hope you are aware that you can use the full M tank with Silverplay chimney and Kayfun topcap. All I had to do was take the o-ring out of the Kayfun top cap drip tip hole, and place it around the top of the Silverplay chimney. That's how I have it set up currently, except I have an...

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

The Silverplay chimney threads into the top cap, and the quartz full tank is too long for it. Sorry.

The SilverPlay RTA: for Clouds On-the-Go

You all had me worried that my insulator (parts breakdown calls it "Teflon gasket") was melting, so I opened it up for inspection. Here is my deck. I've been vaping non-stop for past 4 days on these coils. I quickly gave it a wash. [/IMG] They are fine. The coils were raised...
