    thanks that was the link I wasn't going to try and find. the cutoff seems to be 2.5ohms and above. Some atties are as low as 1.5ohms.

    new unit atty issues. No taste on one, burnt taste on the other! Oi!

    Well Sometimes you can clean them to get rid of the burnt taste. Soaking in alcohol and flushing seems to work for some people. Some atties seem to take a bit to get going. I'm not sure why this is but for some reason I have had a few that took a week to really get going.

    I'll be posting about the Don pretty soon. I won one this summer and they e-mailed me a couple of days ago saying it would be sent out soon. It sure looks like a nice model. For the OP I think as long as you go with a 14500 or larger battery you shouldn't have any problems with using LR...
