    I dry burn about once/week or if flavor & vapor start to reduce. I use a multimeter and ohm the heads to check coil resistance, but yes, if they glow red they are working.

    I clean the heads prior to use in a ultrasonic cleaner with PGA. If I don't clean them, I get nasty dry hits. Once cleaned, life is good.

    Provape also sells ego adapters. They are very nice and worth the money. They are not cheaply made like several of the china ones that I have and they are also sealed to prevent leaks. I use them on many devices as added protecting. Ego adapter....link.
