Need some advice.

I'm looking for a drip shield for my eGo C twist. My question is there are two set of threads on an eGo and also my kGo. I understand the inside (female) thread that my carto's screw into is a 510. What is the outer (male) thread that the cone screws onto. I'm still learning about the different sizes and the eGo and kGo are the only two types I'm familiar with.

The outer thread is referred to as 'ego threading'. It's on the ego; kgo and many other batts.

The reason I'm asking is I want to put a drip shield on my kGo, and they all say I have to buy an adapter to keep them from leaking. Not sure if I really need one or just keep using the cone that came with it.
