Luckily I didn't throw away the coil assemblies but only the burnt wicks (I used tweezers to yank the thread out from the coil). So I could go down the rebuilding route although I don't have one of those fancy gadgets that measure ohm.
Thank you for your response, daleron. How often would you suggest they be cleaned? I use primarily mint/menthol liquids so I know that speeds up the rate at which the coils gunk up. Should I clean them based on time (every few days) or by usage (every few tank refills)?
