I agree the well could be a little deeper. I'm just leaving some cotton on the other side to soak up the excess. This is the build I've had in my Quasar for a few days now and I love it.
Parallel 26 at .37 ohms and fantastic.
I find it just stops the juice from sloshing around too much and I can vape it longer without having to re drip. That being said I think I have a tiny bit too much in this build. Drippers are my all day pocket carry and that extra cotton on the other side helps with pocket messes.
I also find the vape on the parallel to be much smoother.
First one is the parallel 26 at .38 and the second is a dual 26 at .47

It's a totally different kind of vape. The flavour on this parallel is more full and I find the vapour more dense too.
Of the two of them I 100% prefer it over twisted.
I actually kind of like cleaning day, because the mods hit so much harder when they're sparkling clean with shiny contacts.
That being said I hope to upgrade to silver Gpins at some point , they're a little annoying to clean properly.
I've been using this parallel coil for two full days now and I think it's definitely better than a dual setup using the same amount of wire at the same resistance.
Assuming my R91 is close enough to call it a kayfun my RDAs easily beat it for vape quality in every way. I'm not counting juice capacity there, I have zero issues with dripping.
Forgive how blurry this is , just cropped the other image. I tried to take a new picture but there's a wick and juice in it now.
You it's harder to make out on the positive but on the negative you can see both wires going in. IMO this coil is putting out better flavour and better vapour than...
