DC Carto in Home Made Tank issues

Thanks, Ouada. Yah, has something to do with surface tension of the liquid, tiny holes prevent fluid from flowing (or something like that??????) Seems like as long as your holes go into stuffing, not air space, the filler should control the fluid. I will have to try it myself so I can talk...

DC Carto in Home Made Tank issues

I don't know if this pic is good enough for you to see the holes in this CE2, but I don't cut a slit, I make several tiny holes (the smallest drill in my cheapy set), some low and some high. I do it so there's not a vacuum problem, basicallt the tank becomes part of the carto. Wonder if several...

Flashlight mod extras to keep in mind

Draw-down resistor: yes, it is required I think to avoid latching your MOSFET. You can use any value, I use 10M from source to gate, very small amount of current when not activated, any value will work unless yer using it for a touch-mod. Good job

Flashlight mod extras to keep in mind

WOW! You are an inspiration! Never thought of lengthening a 3-AAA FL to accommodate extra components, been trying just to squish in what I can and cross my fingers. Very nice concept PV!!!

    The Godzillamizer V3 Revisited

This one came out so well that it needs a name ... it is based on the design by Breaktru's dual coil tank (thanks Dave) but uses a CE2XL carto instead. This uses a 3/4" ID poly tank I had previously used (literally the same, I tore apart my old one and rebuilt it) I read (possibly on this...

"Mod" or not a "Mod", that is the question...

I'm gonna weigh in here .. a mod is something that was originally designed as something else (flashlight, battery box, etc) but has been MODified into a PV. Even commercial products, like the Old Goat Boxmods and the Madvapes Boxmods, were born as battery boxes and were transformed into PVs, so...
