    It only gurgles if you lay it down for a while (it over-fills the inner tube), if propped up when not in use, it is fine

    Yup, I agree!! Though I think the type is important too. My 801 cartos run about 3 ohms, and they work great. CE2 510's, on the other hand, at 3 ohms are kinda weak, though it's really a personal preference.
