    I can't speak for Moorea but my guess would be that it's an issue with shipping wood. You either need to certify there's no wood in shipments or it has to be fumigated. Regulations have been in place for many years due to some wood beetle.

    I'm lazier than that. I take the cart out and run water through the tank. I very seldom take it apart. Quick run through with a paper towel and it's good to go.

    I love the option of both the thick glass and flush with the end caps. I AM a total klutz, but also would be totally bugged by having the glass edge wider than the tank. So, having both would be great! It looks like it would be a lot of work though?
