With due respect.
The more batteries that you have, the more the Amps are dispersed.
As you can see from the chart below a .15 Atty at 325 Watts will require 45 Amps.
Devide 45 Amps among 3 batteries and you are pulling 15 Amps per Battery.
Just about any high Drain battery can handle this...
I kinda agree with you, never had a Gold Device or Atty.
My choices were,
Black and Red- Predominately Black. Not a fan of black tends to blend into the background and hard to Find. Black Red Combo too common too.
Siver - Black - Boring and I already have a Siver and White Reuleax Rx200
Purple -...
I'm so ticked at myself. Please feel free to berate me!
I just bought a Smok Gx 350 because I WANTED IT.
It looked darned Cool in the YouTube reviews.
Do I need it. Heck No, I have 1 Reuleax RX 200 and an Rx200S . I'm very happy with the Reuleax.
So why did I pull the trigger? Because I'm...
This has become my favorite tank.
A really easy rebuild is with notch coils these say on the ones that I bought that they are.25 but my dual coil build came in at .14. It's refreshing to have a one piece coil no worrying about the coil going out of adjustment. Easiest rebuild ever.
I've found...
I tried the rebuild-able deck on the TFV8. Didn't have much success I ran into a short issue too. It wasn't sturdy. Trying to get dual claptons right I broke the deck on my second rebuild.
I bought an OBS Engine and am using pre-built notch coils. Very Easy Peasy to set up.
I've found a medium.
I was vaping on the TFV8 at around 70-100 Watts, I think .15 ohms.
Recently tried a OBS Engine, dual Notch Coils and I am at around 40 Watts with a .15 Resistance.
More flavor than the TFV8 easier on the juice. I'm still in Sub Ohm Territory though.
I finally made it sputter and flood. Normally I've been leaning it at an slight angle when filling and when it hits the lip, I stop and close her up.
Yesterday I tried filling totally to the top leaning it further and after closing it, wham got hit with flooding and sputtering.
The good news...
CheallaighYou are probably right, but it's still worth a shot.
I once spilled a drink in a laptop. It started behaving irratically and I took out the battery. Uh oh I sent it to a friend of mine who is a computer technician, he flushed the whole system out with alcohol and voila when I got it...
Not sure why, possibly because this tank is shorter and there is less space from coil to mouth, I'm vaping at a much lower wattage 45 Watts seems to be the sweet spot.
Well I rewicked today and adjusted the coils and it works great.
There were two problems
1. One of the coils was heating up much faster than the other
2. This time I used rayon wick and spread it out fluffier and sent it down just a little into the holes.
Sputters are gone. Rock solid tank.
I've never had a leaking issue with the TFV8.
Very Strange, have you checked serial numbers for the Tank and the coils
for authenticity. Each box has a scratch off code with you can check with the MFG.
I go with the rice solution.
Simple logic. It's wet. It's shorting. You either have already fried the unit in which case nothing will help. Or there is still moisture in the unit and putting it in a bag with dry rice for a week will dry it out.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PLUG IN OR PUT BATTERIES IN...
Welcome aboard I don't do anything with Hybrid Mods. They have a bad rap alot of the veterans are very against them. Good luck in finding out more about them.
Tried it in TC control and it was an epic fail, the protection went off immediately. Either I have a dry coil or my RX 200 is showing a reported problem of not playing nice with SS.
Every once in awhile I decide to try something new.
In the Tanks with the Bottom Air Flow I had standardized on the Smok TFV8 with the Sextuple Coils. Then I decided to try the RBA that came with it and I like it a lot. But I decided to try a different technology with the Air feeding from the...
Two days ago the perfect example of the utility of a regulated device was demonstrated to me.
My gear is the Reuleax RX 200 and a Smok TFV8. I highly recommend this combo if you don't mind carrying around a little bulk. I highly recommend it if you are going to vape Sub Ohm above 100 Watts...
