    RDA VS Genny RBA

Greetings; I got my first genny a couple weeks ago -- the seller did a build for me, so I had it working properly right from the start, and it's now my favourite rba. It's hard learning to do a proper build, are you preparing your mesh wick properly? For the coil, I couldn't get it even close...

    Should I upgrade?

I definitely enjoyed vaping more when I switched from a small battery (eGo-style) to an APV. I've done a taste test between an eGo Twist set at 4.2 volts vs a APV at the same setting, and I don't understand the difference between the two devices in terms of electronics, but the APV definitely...

    Charger for VISION mini ego?

Looks like it takes a standard eGo charger -- the one that came with your starter kit has a USB adapter, but a standard eGo wall plug charger should work. -- Glenn

brick and mortar in the gta

+1 for MLV, they're out in your direction. My favourites there (so far) are Vader Pudding, Pillow Talk (by Funkyvapes), and Papaya by Betamorph. Welcome to the forum btw. -- Glenn

Ontario Ministry of Labour called upon for a ruling of unsafe work.

Wow, i'm going to try that where I work, I vape on a KF (clone) at the office, too....maybe I can get the afternoon off and go watch Man U v Arsenal! -- Glenn

    Safe E-liquid in Canada

Greetings, welcome to the forum. I've been to the shop that sells Gold Seal, Flavorium in Toronto, and the store person told me that this brand of e-liquid is made to Health Canada specifications....which sounds great, only I did not care much for the e-liquids there. I tried about a dozen...

New User and a couple of questions :)

Greetings, welcome to the forum. Congrats on quitting smoking! Genesis-style RBAs can be frustrating while learning how to do a proper mesh wick build, but as far as my personal preference goes, it's well worth the effort. I get my favourite vape on a genny using 500x500 mesh and 4 wraps of 32...

    New Vaper - Toronto North

With some of the newer clearomizers, it sounds like you can get an awesome vape without having to get into RBAs (= rebuildables, meaning you have to build the wire and wick coil yourself, as opposed to a store-bought replacement coil for an atomizer. Some atomizer coils -- like the Protank II --...

    Genesis Performance Questions

Just for a laugh, I googled the Richman hybrid (which looks pretty nice in the OP's pic), and this is part of the blurb: Reduced air chamber top cap for better hits and flavor.... Now the joke's on me...I think I want one of these! -- Glenn

    New Vaper - Toronto North

Greetings jack_d, welcome to the forum, neighbor! I went from an eGo battery to an APV battery unit fairly quickly, which helped a lot in terms of producing richer vapour. Take some time researching your buy if you go this route; To many (most?) owners, the Provari is well worth the price...

    I made a calculator

Greetings, welcome to the forum. Your calculator looks great! I haven't run any numbers through it yet, but it's awesome having a single interactive page that pulls together both oHms law stuff and build specs. Well done! -- Glenn

    help a noob out

Greetings, welcome to the forum, and thank you for having the good sense to be thinking about mech mod/rba safety issues right from the start. FWIW I love my mech mods, and my favourite atomizer is a Genesis-style RBA, but it was very difficult to learn how to do a decent Genny build. For a...

Want to upgrade from starter kit itaste vv

Greetings, welcome to the forum. I've never had a VV V3, but pretty much everything I've read or heard about them sounds great (wish I had got something like the VV V3 right from the start, rather than buy way too many eG0 batteries, then get an APV). The VV V3 form factor is really nice...

    vamo v5 volts/watts?

Greetings, welcome to the forum. Unless you're making your own builds, the coils that came with your clearo (and your replacement coils) are build to a certain oHms level; 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, etc, are pretty typical. They are pre-made this way, and you can't change the resistance unless you rebuild...

Newbie introduction with a couple questions.

Greetings, welcome to the forum, sounds like you're off to a fine start at vaping. - to the best of my knowledge, many or most of the full-sized clearos (not the Minis) have 510 threading, and will be fine on your eGo. For my part, eGo batteries were ok when I started vaping, but I wasn't able...

    Fave Canadian ejuice manufacturers?

Hey TS, welcome to the forum. There are some awesome e-liquid makers in Canada, my fave at the moment is Maple Leaf Vapes in Toronto, which makes a yummy flavour called Vader Pudding (subtlely-spiced vanilla-ish taste). MLV also sells a line of e-liquids made elsewhere in Ontario, Funkyvapes...

Ss mesh or ss rope (cotton?)

Here's a vid by the creator of the Zenesis; near the start he talks about various wicking materials, and recommends mesh for this type of RBA: -- Glenn

    Greetings to Our Newest Members!

After a long and humbling wait, it looks like I'm finally getting my ticket to the temple. I'm undecided still between a mini and a regular, and i'd be grateful for some opinions -- has anyone gotten a mini, then ended up thinking that they probably should have bought a full-sized one instead...

    New to Genesis Atomizer

These are good suggestions, I would add only that if you do use 28 gauge wire, you'll need more than 4 wraps with your coil to stay above sub-oHm territory, which may be a good idea unless your familiar with mech mods and RBAs. With 32 gauge, people generally just do 4 wraps. -- Glenn
