Good morning all......Good God it's still snowing and suppose to keep it up all day !!!! Already 5-6" on the ground.......thank God it's Sunday and I get to stay in. Tomorrow is another story and it's suppose to be wind chill of 40 below. Why didn't I retire already. Oh I know....cuz I need... -

yep years ago when we lived out in the country people came to the door often asking us to use the phone or call for a tow. Now days I would be afraid to let everyone in.....times have changed. -

yep you hate to laugh at people's troubles....but ya know sometimes when you drive along the interstate and see 4wheel drive after 4wheel drive in the ditch or upside down that they THOUGHT they could drive like idiots cuz they have 4 wheel drive. happens a lot around here. -

yeah they are very dangerous.....this time of yer seems we always see on the news that happens here several times. not sure why people aren't more careful with them. .......very sad.....especially when it's kids. -

I used to panic when this kind of weather was coming in.....mostly worried about running out of "stinkies".....HA....don't need to worry about that anymore......I have enough juice to last till NEXT winter if necessary. BUT I do have to go out to work on Monday when it will be 40 below....so... -

Dusty we have friends coming home this weekend from Celebration.....they have a condo there.....really feel sorry for them !!!! they are going to be shocked to get back here.:) It is sad when weather threatens people's livelihood.....no matter where!!!! -

Afternoon all.....I could cry watching what we are suppose to get.....loads of snow and Monday a wind chill of 40 below....WTH this isn't Alaska.....I think I forgot about Illinois winters......we have had such mild ones lately. Well hopefully it will come and go quickly. -

Hawaii is one of my future ones....but maybe after I retire. I want to do the round-trip cuz I REFUSE to fly that many hours even if it is one-way. I am almost stir-crazy by the time I fly to Vegas.....can't imagine another 4-5 hours more !!!! -

nothing wrong with shorter cruises....leaves more money for the next one !!!! Alaska is one cruise I have NO desire for.....maybe it's from living in Illinois :) -

yep I see a lot of people who spend way too much money and then say it's too expensive. if ya drink a lot of booze and spend a lot on the islands it can be.....but my bill when we get off is rarely over $250.... but a couple of friends that went with 2 yrs ago ended up with a $1500 bill and said... -
