REO Tips & Tricks...some basic troubleshooting ideas
I had to send my Reo mini for repair and asked Rob to remove the locking pin when he installed the new button but he didn't. I don't know if he forgot or what. He didn't say either way. -
Battery Preference on the REO
I have two black/black Reo minis AW IMR 14500, 4ea, that I keep in rotation. I have two Trustfire TR-001 chargers but I don't like them at all. Most times can't charge two batts at the same time. I agree with mwa. Start at 15 and go up if needed. On the DYI pages that is what is recommended too but tobacco flavors could be a different animal. I don't use tobacco flavors myself so I'm no help there. However, 25% does seem too strong to start with. Best of luck! :)- MacDiver

I quit using the CE2 cartos, and cartos alltogther for that matter, as soon as I got my Reo. I don't see the point in using them. Not when you can squeeze fresh juice right from the bottle. Attys have much better flavor anyway, IMHO. I discovered the Cisco 1.5 LR510s and high drains from you... -

Drozd didn't seem to like them in posts I've seen. He seems to like the AWs. Not specific on the BDLs though but he didn't indicate he bought them. I get the idea they are cheaply made so I went with the AWs. -

Tastyfinger was my fav vape until Geoff changed somthing about it and ruined it. Now it sux. I sent two doublers and a 1oz back to him for a refund. I even bought some from another person and it was the same stuff. I'm still diggin the Apple Pie, Almond Horn and Caramel Popcorn though. -

I tried my first LR306 a week or so ago. While I liked the slightly more heat it produced the thing would pop and juice would burn my tongue. I quit using it because of that. -

I'm getting way too much air on my mini. Using a Joye LR510. The air slots on the connector are the largest I've seen on any 510 connector. Has anyone come up with a viable way to close off a couple or more of them? Thanks! :) -

What's only vaguely mentioned here is the fact that a reg 14500 doesn't put out the power (amprage or current) that the atty is calling for so you get less heat so you are not getting the full benefit of the extra price of a LR atty. You might as well just use a reg 510 atty because the wattage... -

What are the advantages of the Pila charger? It costs around $50. I'm using a cheapo $9 Trustfire T001 but it charges just fine. I check the batts with my multimeter and they charge to spec and shuts off. I have two of them. One for home and one for work. They have a car charger port too. The... -
