You are on it today Pete your on fire keep it up!! It took a while for that crap to cure cant remember how long...
glad you got it ... it can be tricky
Good tip kristin... even thoe your a dork and could not spell OUTSIDE right:pervy::D
Hey Raci2.. Im still working on perfecting this mod ill let you know when there ready its been hit and miss do the the bridge in the attys all being difrent shapes sizes and being crooked.. so we are working on molded plugs keep an eye on the thread we are bound to come up with somthing here...
yes it is to stop the plug from going down.. I think a paper clip would allow the plug to rock around to much... it really needs support going around the cart..
RTV is just to bad ... for vaping, Im sure that stuff has cryptonite in it Im just going to try 100% clear silicone rubber when I get off the counch and go to lowes..
Btw it dose look like a tooth lol..
OK Scottbee!! I think you are on to somthing the molded plug looks good other then being silicone calk and not being able to vape it.. heres a run down with pictures..
cut cart in half filled with stuff
Let the silicone cure for a bit and placed a peice of sandwich bag sprayed with...
if your using the X cut then the only way it can really leak is if the corners are lifting up folding in on itself when the bridge hits the center... make sure the plug is tight...
You know I orderd a 801 passthrew when I first got into vaping by mistake actullay two of them.. anyway I think im going to order a 801 atty and a pack of carts just to play with cause the 801 and 510's are so popular I just want to see what the 801's are all about..
lol I would not worry about it nothing wrong with the silicone cap plug... scottes using a 801 and its a lil more dificult to use a cap plug.. but you know how us men are we must have custom molded plugs now :D Kinda like cars we cant ever have to much H.P. !!
