The 3.2 or 3.3 volt reference is what most folks see with a cheap meter.
The output of the eGo is somewhat regulated via Pulse Width Modulation to about a true 3.6 volts.
The Riva- straight device will put out more with a full charge, a little less as the charge goes down.
You must have found an easy way to take an eGo apart.
Lots of people have trouble doing that.
There's even youtube videos how to do it.
It's not that easy to do.
But, USP on the label means the supplier sort of promises it meets USP requirements,
Trust me :)
I guess they also have to pay a Registrar company to file their FDA 'Registration'.
Head into your local Walmart and look in the Vitamin section. USP Verified is the 'Extra Advertising Edge' used...
Looks like USP hasn't really settled on the purity, and testing requirement for Glycerin.
Call for Candidates: USP Expert Panel on Glycerin | U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention
I agree.
I have info that is at least a year old from them. Sources change. Current info is best.
either that or call several times and take the average of responses :)
Glycerin is hygroscopic. It will absorb water from the atmosphere. Totally Wicked sold VG that was prediluted, but any USP labeled ought to have 0.5% or less for 99.5% pure or 0.3% or less if 99.7% pure.
Probably does when it was made/tested. How long it was open in order to fill a bunch of...
Don't have a good answer for the taste difference.
But the thickness difference (viscosity) is probably a small quantity of water absorbed during handling and packaging.
3 to 4% absorbed atmospheric moisture will change viscosity quite a bit.
A low density (weight/volume) may also indicate...

The 118ml bottle still has about 100ml in it and has an expiration date of 2008.
I mixed up a small batch, my first, and got sick to my...
I have no idea.
Isn't that why VG and PG has been discussed for the past 3 or 4 years?
What are the process chemicals used? Could some of those remain?
Why does one brand of PG or VG taste different or cause different effects for some people?
My guess it's all in their minds. THey read...
HUMCO is USP. It does not say VG but there have been at least 3 people on ECF have 'personally' talked with people at the Texarkana plant and they all were told the glycerin they receive is vegetable sourced. I THINK the Humco plant receives trucks/railcars and repackages it. They run a big...
