Article- What you need to know about e-cigarettes

Exactly the comments I was referring to. I toyed with the idea of posting a rebuttal, but then quickly realized that I had about the same chance of getting through as I did of keeping a jellyfish alive in a blast furnace. Seems like I need to brush up on my Internet pecking order. I've never...

Does this sound like typical USPS?

Yup. Just got my Pluid today, and USPS's last update says that it left LA on the 14th.

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Finally have a "show" for the show and tell: :D Edited to add: Took a whiff about five minutes ago and then resealed it. I can still smell the stuff. And that's reduced strength. Wow.

Article- What you need to know about e-cigarettes

Good lord, some of the comments... Seems like ignorance is fizzing apoplectic rage, rather than bliss, for some folks.

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Sorry to hear about the spousal difficulties. I'm on a fixed vaping budget every month, so it's almost impossible for me to overspend. But enough about that... congrats on the Pluid! Mine's entered a black hole somewhere outside LA. I'm hoping it'll find its way here before too long.

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Hm. Unless you have a really narrow wick, 5 wraps should come in at about 2.5 ohms or so, if you're using 32ga. kanthal on a ~2.5-3 mm diameter wick. Still, if it's heating evenly and not throwing errors up at you, that's the main part. Far as vapour goes, is your air hole lined up with your...

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Congrats! Vapeable is the first step. Sometimes passing some heat through the coils for a while will help fix some of the weak spots. Anyway, enjoy it, and when you finally get that perfect (or close enough) coil, you'll *really* enjoy it. :) I was constantly fiddling with my coils the...

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Looks like you have a DID clone there, so I'm not sure of the exact wick hole diameter, but I'm sure the principle's very similar. I use a 5cmx5cm piece of mesh torched flat and then again when rolled, with 2-3 juice burns afterwards (soak and light and let it burn out), and then cut to length...

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

No problems there. I'd trim your wick to the length of the positive post, though. It may be shorting out on the top cap. Looks like you have a nice evenly glowing coil, however. That's usually the monkey in the wrench for me. Edit: Also make sure there is very little airspace between your...

my first bacon (no not a e-juice)

Heh. That's cute. Both my kids' first bacon was actual bacon. As an aside, It's interesting that so many "funny internet words" are trochees: Bacon, ninja, pirate, zombie, robot, badger, etc. Are trochees generally funnier than other forms of meter? Are there any funny internet iambs?

    1 Year Vapiversary

Congratulations! All of these significant milestones are just that much more fuel for my own drive. Keep sharing, everyone! I'm not sure if I'll be back home in time (The wife has a Christmas party) tomorrow to catch the full thing, but I'll stop in for a while.

Or a clue-by-four. Can't take the credit for that one, but it just fits so well.

New Genesis type atomizer by DID!

I know I've been pretty quiet lately (stupid deadlines), but I gotta say, Jim. You've managed to exceed my ludicrously inflated expectations. That is a work of art. Edited to add: Thanks for all the Christmas wishes. Glad you're enjoying fatherhood so far. It just gets better from...

Vision Eternity RBA - my opinion - what about yours?

Glad to be of help (and justify to myself all this trivia sloshing around in my head). :)

Vision Eternity RBA - my opinion - what about yours?

That is correct. I know it's counterintuitive, but I think (IIRC) the whole gauge thing has (had?) something to do with how many dies the wire was drawn through. More dies = smaller wire diameter.

Thanks! Not too sure how serious you're being, but I'll graciously accept the compliment. I don't think I'd ever have allowed myself the capacity for incisive wit that he has, but who am I to judge? I was more just referring to the rantiness of my post.

Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) Public Health Make Outlandish Claims

This. The government collects billions per year in sin taxes. If they were really concerned about the effects of tobacco on their citizens, cigarettes would have been made illegal the minute a valid connection was made between smoking and premature death. Follow the money. Where, oh where...
