    Maybe try a clone (chinese made) mech mod/rba combo? I think you can get a combo like that in your budget. I haven't tried one of the clones myself, but I've heard good things about them here. Once I went to a mechanical/rba setup, all my other devices are backups...including three provaris...

    GS was my first kit and they got me off of cigarettes. I've moved on to what I consider better value for the money vaporizors, but I have to give them credit for helping me quit cigarettes.

    Also, make sure you're placing your battery into the gus positive side down. The spring should be on the neg. side of the battery.

    I wish I could be of more help, but without seeing it I can't. All I can offer is that the button should not be getting hot. Something's awry...and yes it can be fixed. Just have to figure out the issue.

    Yes. Even with the amount of money I've spent on various vaporizors, it's still way less than I would've spent on cigarettes if I were still smoking.

    Do you have a multimeter? If so, test out the coil with it, could be a short. If you don't, I'd rebuild the coil. It shouldn't get hot. My Gus's button stays cool, as all my mechs do.

    If you can find one, the GG iAtty drip mode is awesome. Best drip atty I've tried. Perfect for trying out new juices. Rebuildable too.
