Kristen, thank you for that great post about nicotine. It does help alot to put this controversy back into proper context in this thread.
I must confess heh heh...I do love my nicotine :-)
I am reducing nic levels gradually. Started off at 30mg, changed to 24mg when I discovered cotton wicking...
Exchaner,
Ok now that MATH CLASS is over, heh heh heh.
"Nicotine" It's all about the "context" (look "that" up ex)
That link you posted is really irrelevent in regard to the context I was using, and to the context of this thread.
In that silly study, they caused genetic birth anomalies in rat...
Thats another great advantage of vaping instead of smoking outside of the obvious health benefits
I dont miss that ritual pita of sitting down making a batch of cigarerttes, making a mess with tobacco spillage etc.
Now it's more of a fun hobby now making diy'ing juices, coil builds etc...
I...
Not available at most of the usual cig places, so I had to visit the tobacco outlet stores instead...
"1 can of midnight special or american spirit tobacco and a box of king size tubes !"
Arrrgh, I had to roll my own because the FSC cigarettes crap was literally killing me.
I agree, the mini is much more hassle free. But theres a reason the mini out performs the pt2. The airflow to the coil through the center pin is restricted inside the 510 connector and sometimes can cause it to draw too much juice into the wick resulting in flooding and gurgling problems. This...
It replaces the base plate part that holds the coil. Fits all the protanks single or dual coil.
The other option is replacing the pt base plate (the 510 connection piece) with an ego base, such as the base from a minipro2, which fits perfectly and works great imho.
mikey6,
No amount of drilling out the air holes on the stock kanger protank 510 connector will solve the silicone grommet blocking airflow issue.
The air flow resistance (partial or sometimes total blockage) happens within the 510 connector below the air holes, causing resistance of flow thru...
YOU were incorrect in the quoted post. I've already explained it to you in that post you just quoted.
The 12mg e juice contains 12mg per ml. 12mg e liquid does NOT mean per 1000ml.
I'll put it in big red letters for you heh heh
1.2% nicotine IS 12mg per ml
Maybe I should tell you what...

The ECF Library is a great place to find useful information about cigarettes and vaping.
Irresponsible you say ???
I'll repeat it for you, worded in a way you might understand more clearly...quoted from the linked source data...

Yes you've made mistakes.
1000 ml of 12mg e juice contains a grand total of 120 ml of 100 mg (10%) nic base for a grand total of 12000 mg nicotine.
12mg e juice is 1.2% nicotine. Translation = 12mg nicotine per ml !
Here is a thread explaining the problem in detail.

There is an easy fix however. Just put an aero tank base on your protank and the silicone grommet issue will be solved.
they're only about six dollars...
I find that it makes sense to note what kind of pg/vg ratio the author of a recipe uses.
Found out the hard way, that when I follow some recipes in my usual 70/30 or 65/35 ratio, it ends up being horribly over flavored if the original author was running a mostly vg final mix.
To your question...
It is extremely unlikely that could happen, but more importantly you have eliminated hundreds of carcinogenic chemicals along with not taking in carbon monoxide now. I hope you're not considering going back to cigarettes because of worries about nicotine. Its harmless especially when you...
ok i read this old thread too...so i'll also throw in something fwiw...
someone mentioned that an expiration date was approaching on a bottle of nic ?
Chances are that this may just be the recommended "retest date". No need to panic and buy more nic if it hasnt actually gone bad yet, especially...
4tran4...
Did you mean to say steep without "VG" and then add the "VG" later for comparison to normally mixed and steeped ?
Crunk...
Can you elaborate on that post... I mean "where's waldo" in all those wikis
