Remember the fumbling gas station attendants? The trainees that would fumble through the decorative wall of cigarettes while giving you a look of confusion and anger while an impatient line formed behind you. Mine was always "Camel filters in a box, nope to the left, nope no...the goldish pack, yup those" I must have said those words thousands of times. I've heard hundreds of calls from the eager and fiending mouths of patrons. What was yours?

"Two packs of Newport 100's box. No, not the short ones, the 100's. The long ones, to the right. In the box, not the softpack." And in recent years, "the green ones, not the red ones. Yep. Thanks."

I used to like the cigarette store because they were a little bit cheaper but they didn't judge - they made their money off addicts like me. Grocery stores used to have cartons in a rack where you could just grab one and put it your cart with your groceries, but then they went to locking them up so you had to ask at checkout, and yes, everyone waited while the kid went and got the key, and then tried to find the ones you asked for. The looks you got from all concerned - they might as well have given you a bell to ring while waiting. "Unclean! Unclean!"

1lb Virginia Gold, a box of Bugler papers and 3 bags of filters.

I was lucky though, the folks I went to always knew where the stuff was (-:

Thats another great advantage of vaping instead of smoking outside of the obvious health benefits
I dont miss that ritual pita of sitting down making a batch of cigarerttes, making a mess with tobacco spillage etc.

Now it's more of a fun hobby now making diy'ing juices, coil builds etc...
I love this stuff, but the wife still complains about all the "stuff" on the coffee tables heh heh

OKC, OK
well when i was still buying commercial cigs, it was "camel menthol lights....er... silvers." ugh stupid name changes made me feel dumb.

but after this it was "1lb Norwegian, 1/8lb perique, 1/4 vanilla rum special blend and a box of king size tubes please." i used to love using my little cig making machine.

+ 1 for the name changes.

My fav was "Marlboro Lights in a box." Then they became Marlboro Golds thanks to the government looking out for us and informing us that Lights were not healthy. I kept saying lights. Most knew what I was talking about, but some of the younger ones just starting out their convenience careers would look at me funny.
