    I would not advise adjusting the center pin on a Kayfun after your done building it. It is most likely shorted out as Btsmokincat mentioned. Anyone new to Kayfuns should do plenty of research, it's not that hard to short one out if you fiddle with the center posts.

    For me the authentic Kayfuns are superior in form and function. I have a Russian and a couple of clones as well, but they just don't measure up to the authentic devices, IMHO.

    I use both ekowool and regular silica. 10 days of no maintenance vaping. Then just rinse and dry burn, good as new.
