Unless you look at both as theories.

I guess it should be taught as intelligent design instead of creationism, but they ARE competing theories.

Your opinion but one is based on facts and the other based on myth. There are plenty of options for faith based practices outside of education.

maybe I misread your post but it not:

little thing called separation of church and state

Contrary to popular belief and the current media propaganda there is NO SUCH THING as "separation of church and state" in the US Constitution. It only states that Congress shall pass no law that either establishes a religion or impedes the practice of a religion. There is nothing that says a prayer cannot be said in school, or that a religious symbol cannot be displayed at a court house, or that any specific thing can or cannot be taught in a school. It ONLY says Congress cannot pass a law regarding such matters. The States are not Congress.

No one said a prayer cannot be said on school grounds. Teaching it in a public school is another thing. Do you believe that each state should be able to "teach" religious beliefs in public schools? If so, which religious belief/beliefs?

My problem with evolution is that it cannot be proved any more than creationism and involves just as much faith. In evolution we are expected to believe that a bunch of amoebas got together and turned into a frog or some such. Then that frog eventually turned into dinosaurs, tigers, dogs, apes, and eventually man. Meanwhile there are no inbetweener type fossils for all of these creatures. They just suddenly transformed from one thing to another. That sounds like science fiction...like the cheap poorly written kind on Syfy.

Most of this thread is derailed as well. If you spend some time learning about copyright, patents and trademark law many here would not be driving from the back seat. IP and such is pretty complicated and unless you have deep pockets and lawyers on your side you have little chance against china. Most are smart enough to not try. Maybe they have learned to not fight and work with China. Who knows?

Pls look up theory in a dictionary and let me know what you find. Is gravity a theory? Does it work on faith?

We could go round and round on this. I don't want to side track this thread. PM me if you think we could have a respectful conversation.

My main point is:

Which is worse, pretending your not copying something by changing a couple of unremarkable details, or having the balls to just put an exact copy out there without shame, no matter the consequences?

I wonder how many people that hate products made in China realize that is where their iPhone was made. Besides Provari are there any other US made PV's? Are there any US made atomizers, clearomizers, or cartomizers?

Back to the topic at hand does any of this stuff exist?

Just learning to build coils, etc...pls read a little on evolution/science. Easiest way I can explain it is to use the dog analogy. Dogs came from wild wolves, right? Over years thanks to man we have changed that wolf into every dog breed every born. Not natural but the same thing. Ever heard of the walking catfish? Think of the time scale of the universe not the time scale of our short existence.

Right but no amount of breeding can turn a wolf into a cat. And if there were slow evolutionary changes, where are the fossils of the in between creatures? What evolved into the cats? Where are the fossils between what they were before cats existed and the actual cats? They don't exit. We are expected to take it on "faith" that they did exist in order to explain evolution. Faith is faith regardless of what it is trying to explain.

If my history serves me right the original concept and design of all of this came from the US in the 50s. It was picked up decades later and perfected from a man that lost his father to cancer (who happened to be Asian).

I know that. I mean, let's say I wanted to buy an American made atomizer, can I? Is there one?

You improve something and put your name on it you win. You make it cheaper or the same and use their name and/or logo, then you should be shut down. In my work if you do this you can be sued for damages as well as all the profits you made. Then you have to destroy the copies. that is the way it works here in the US
