No it's Purple Heart wood but it was finished with a blue dye(after the maple top was put in place) and it give a nice contrast on the back. But it is not purple anymore, they used purple heart just for contrast and tonality.- IMEDICx90

True, but I don't see why the aged look is any worse then the original look. Brass doesn't stay shiny without a polish, or clear coat, copper tarnishes just as well, but some people like them regardless of the maintenance or sacrifices, and some even force a patina on them. Lol I saw them and the cocobola wood is beautiful too, but I have a mod holder, and a guitar with Purple Heart, so I think I'll still push on, but if 22 doesn't want to that's understandable. I think if I found plywood thick enough, peter could make it stunning, but the real beauty of these mods...- IMEDICx90

I have had this mod holder since I started vaping a little over a year ago and it's just as purple as when I bought it. The grain itself looks fabulous on my piece and I love the look. Nah it's that Rene 41 wire that we all got. It's ridiculously thick and I doubt I could fit a dual coil in here without wrapping the posts for the second one. Lol!- IMEDICx90

So Mundy thanks for the wire! I just set it up in my dibi.... Holy .... this thing blows some clouds at .2 ohms........ But on the downside, it's REAAAAALLLLYYYY hard to work with. So I might just chalk it up to not worth the hassle, but I'll enjoy the coil for now. :)- IMEDICx90

Just type it into eBay and a ton of results will come up. I buy from Jacobs the same place I get my nichrome from. And it is not comparable to kanthal. It's a stiff wrap and heats up quicker then chit. It's quite ridiculous how fast it heats, but it's fantastic to vape and lasts for quite a...- IMEDICx90
