It's not that complicated, is it? Just PM each other and it's your own private deal between friends. It's alot of material, admittedly, but not a lot of cost. I mean, it's really not gonna matter how much you have left over when you ascertain that it's ridiculous to vape.

Not thinking about ribbon in this case.
Was thinking maybe 000 die to make spiral wrapped R41.
Maybe a bust, maybe not.
Would probably have to get the R41 red hot or it would shatter itself or the die one.

No I didn't establish a technique, but I haven't been trying.
I am fairly certain though that running it between 2 rollers close together with it red hot will do the trick based on squeezing it when red hot.

Good to know, that's my favorite. Local Italian joint makes pistachio gelato omg so good lol anyway back to run #3 anticipations.

GG have you completely abandoned the idea of making a glass topper? I mean if you have air holes it shouldn't do what it did before right? And a glass button for my dibi? I really really want a topper for my patriot and the button cover for the dibi... Interested?

Btw there would be no rush what so ever.

I haven't abandoned anything. I'm just still thinking about what I can do. Actually, I already saw that someone on FB already made what I was thinking of (glass cover for RDA coils). It's a VERY complex task, due to the location of where the tubing gets cut off and the teeny size of it, it was interesting to see how he handled it. That may be beyond my technical skill level, but I haven't tried it again. I needed a 'handle' for the base ... which is why I really needed the KTS2 mod.

But now that I have it, no, haven't tried it again yet. Glass execution isn't like woodwork or stonework. You can't draw or shape anything to transfer, you have to really have what you're making fixed in your mind, every mm of it, size, shape, color, because you usually have seconds to execute it once the glass is molten (and 2000 degrees). Errors are usually irrevocable, and it's a pretty indescribable level of focus.

Well, if you can judge by my attention span around here, my focus has been lacking lately. I'm giving myself about 2 more months and I'll maybe get back to work.

btw: does anybody around here know enough Iranian (Persian) to tell us what the heck a Pistak is? Is it like "clover" in Hungarian? I asked my mom, when I was a kid, "why is the word for clover the exact same word as for a horse's gonads?". "It's not" said she. "But it's the exact same word(s)" says I.
