All we can really do in the meantime is purchase an atty or two when you have a few extra bucks to spend. This way you'll have enough over time to last you quite a while and if you perform regular maintenance on them, they'll last you for months. I am still using 510 attys that are more than 6...
Something I have mentioned before is if you can find the Lorrans flavoring anywhere pick up a bottle of their Creme de Menthe. About 1 drop of that to any flavor and you'll be very surprised at the taste with the menthol added. Always good to have in an emergency.

It's an absolute shame but there are hundreds (if not thousands) of instant e-cig salesmen in business selling starter kits and supplies at outrageous prices to unsuspecting customers. The worst part is that most of them don't have a clue what they are selling and many have never used an e-cig...
It looks like a great build and as long as it works that's all that really matters. But I would probably make that my "in house" vaping tool rather than carry that one around in public.
Oh, and your mods are not ugly... they are unique.

A BIG Congratulations to you! 5 months is a huge milestone and you should be proud of yourself. On a side-note, I've noticed more than a few of your posts and you have been very helpful to many newbies and for that you get a gold star too.
Here's to another 5 months!

All we can do is have a "wait and see" attitude but without a doubt, IF big tobacco were to get serious and dive into the e-cig market they would be priced high to help make up for any losses in regular tobacco sales. You can also count on government getting their fair share of taxes too. IF...
Mods are a great way to go if you can make your own and they'll last just as long and work just as well as some of the more expensive PV's that you can purchase. It's a matter of personal preference and as long as they work for you, that's all that really matters.

As mentioned, drink more fluids and I would think that you're getting too much nicotine which is giving you that "buzz". I've learned over time that the higher nicotine gives me too much throat hit and headaches so I've weaned myself down to about 9mg.
Vaping is different than "puffing" and...
If you look you'll notice a couple of Eclipse and Altoids tin mods that incorporate the 18650 battery, but at a minimum you can get an 18650 battery holder here as an option to hold your battery securely.

It sure does look drop-proof! It looks like you've done a great job and that should last you a very long time. Maybe attach a wrist-strap to help minimize the dropping?
Good work!

The protected 14500 is the correct battery mentioned in the NicoStick mod discussions. If you look very closely you'll notice that there are a couple of "lips" of plastic material inside the battery case that make it such a tight fit. These are located at the top of the case where the positive...
Welcome Aboard and a big Congratulations for you having success after 50 years!
You're going to get a whole lot of different suggestions and recommendations here at ECF as there are so many tried and true, well-tested e-cigs out there, and yes there are more than a few that are not worth the...
We're here to help so don't rush it and ask questions here if you need to. The NicoStick is such a simple mod and you can get a good 8 hours or more out of one fully-charged 14500 battery which is so nice compared to the standard battery that comes with an e-cig.
Good Luck!

Like most people I also started out trying all kinds of different flavors like butter-rum, fruit-mix, cola, pina collata and for the past several months have gone back to nothing but the tobacco flavors and loving it. RY4, Tobacco, USA Mix, Kamel, Marlb to name a few.

Welcome Aboard and Congrats on your new e-cig. I don't know that particular model, but with almost any e-cig you're absolutley right, there is a learning curve. Just make sure that you only attach your atty or cartomizer to the battery just barely snug so that you're not cutting off your air...
An establishment has the right to refuse you to use your own asthma inhaler??? That just doesn't make any sense at all. What if that patron then has a asthma attack on the premises because he or she was not allowed to use their inhaler?
Can someone provide me with a link to such a law?
Congratulations! You've made a good choice with your 510 as it is a very dependable unit. The megabatteries are good for longer battery life but if you're a little mechanically inclined you may want to consider making yourself a mod like a NicoStick or purchasing something like an Ego for a...
