Just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you know that this is a great forum. I have just started using Smoke Stik Royale and have to say that it takes getting used to. After reading posts in the forum I found out that I'm not the only one having problems. I think, due mostly to not knowing the proper method of using the ecig. I have found that surfing through the forum has answered a lot of my questions already. Looking forward to many more informative posts.:vapor:

Welcome Aboard and Congrats on your new e-cig. I don't know that particular model, but with almost any e-cig you're absolutley right, there is a learning curve. Just make sure that you only attach your atty or cartomizer to the battery just barely snug so that you're not cutting off your air supply. Also, try long and light vapes as apposed to hard ones. If you have an automatic battery, vape lightly for about 1-2 seconds to get the atty warmed up, stop for a half-second, then draw lightly for 4-5 seconds. If it's a manual battey, hold that button for 1-2 seconds before you vape for the same reason, to warm up the atty.

Good luck!

Hi Sulld, welcome to ECF! Your Smoke Stik is an RN4081. That's where I started, too. Took me forever to figure out a model number, so I'd know what I was looking at. It's not a bad little unit, but I quickly moved on to a 510. Mainly because the cartridges are so puny I was constantly refilling them. I also wanted better battery life and I wanted a manual battery. Not sure if yours is automatic or manual. Anyway, I quit smoking using one like yours, so it can be done! Good luck!

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of vaping. There are many people who are not too thrilled with the first e-cig that they buy but with all the information resources on ECF and all the helpful people you can get tons of suggestions and help deciding.

The most important factors in determining what type of e-cig is best for you is what brand of analog you smoked and what you liked about it.

Good luck!

Welcome, I wish you success on your journey. Don`t put a bunch of undo pressure on yourself feeling like you have to quit right now. There will undoubtedly be some frustrations along the way that may make you say "the heck with it" if you do. Realize it is a process, and one that atfer countless hours of reading this forum, one that seems almost everyone achieves at one point or another.

I am a new vaper as well and this forum got me in the right direction. A truly nice group of people. They steered me to Cignot.com and the Joye Ego. It is most awesome. There is a bit of a learning curve. I was scared to death that the new ECig wouldn't work for me. I've been smoking 40+ years. THe first thing I did was burn up an atty because I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't top off my cart and the taste I kept smoking was HORRIBLE. After talking to Vicki from Cignot, she walked me through breaking in another atty and it's been good since. At first you won't get the real taste from the juice until you use the ECig for a couple of hours or maybe even a day, then things will kick it. I was still reaching for my cigs out of habit for a couple of days until I put them in the pantry. I will still allow myself a cig if I think I need to compare, but honestly I tried a couple of puffs of a cig today and the Ego is better! Good luck and look into the Joye Ego at Cignot.com. It is the most awesome and even my husband decided he would give it a try and once he picked up the ego (2 days ago) he hasn't smoked a cig since. He loves it. Even took it to work and didn't feel a bit wierd about smoking an ECig. Friends are now asking for the website.
