I have 3. I run a center Z coil in mine. I place the air holes in the space between the post and the wick.

I start out like that. But when I stumble across something I really like, I want to be able to duplicate it each time.

It is a nice scale. Maybe a little slow; but I use mine with batteries. Maybe a little faster with the AC adaptor. I haven't tried it. But the important thing, in choosing a scale for weight mixing, is to have it measure hundredths of a graham, which it does.

Great video. I mix about the same way, and I have the exact same AWS scale.

Glad you got it worked out. That's usually the most likely cause; something restricting the feed tube or squonk hole in the atty.

I guess I started calling it the leaf, because the L shaped thing that goes on the post in the P67 and Woodvil is also technically a positive contact. So, I call one piece 'the leaf' and the other piece 'the L shaped thing'.:D

I don't know what the official name is. All REOs have one. They just vary in length, depending if it's for a P67, Woodvil, or conventional REO. The gold plated copper thing with a hole in one end, a curl on the other. I call it the 'switch leaf'. I guess it's just called the 'positive contact'...

Good to have spare parts. In fact, just this very morning, I was vaping on my favorite Woodvil, a cocobolo. I noticed the button press was annoyingly weak. I ignored it for a while, but finally decided to investigate. I pulled off the bottle and tube, and unscrewed and removed the switch leaf...

Wish I could remember what combination I used. At the time I was converting mine, I just had some loose change on my desk, and had the bright idea to use them as shims.

Where and where not to vape

It just seems to me that the only reason we have so many silly laws today, and more be enacted every day, is because we seem to have lost our common respect for one another, as well as common sense. We once had more of it; many have lost it, or never learned it in the first place; so now we have...

I've had one or two pop out. But I can't say I've ever lost one. Been lucky so far.

REOs should last a lifetime, with a few spare parts on hand, just in case: springs, switch leafs, tubes, bottles.

I had it happen to one of my Nuppins one time. The mod it was on had tipped over on my desk, and because the squonk/drain hole on a Nuppin is below deck level, the end of one of the cotton wicks got down in there, and was partially blocking the hole.

Here's a trick I dreamed up. Somebody else posted a while back asking how to make sure the switch leaf contacts the L shaped contact on the 510 post squarely. Before taking it apart, lay the P67 on its back, and find a combination of stacked coins, nickels, pennies, dimes, or whatever (I don't...

When you get your parts, don't hesitate to PM me, if you have any trouble. I'll be glad to walk you through it. You shouldn't have any trouble though. Pretty easy job.

The spring button works really well. I converted both of my P67s, and haven't had any problems since. You could send it in to Rob, but honestly, it's a very easy install. The only slightly tricky part is being sure to put just a teeny tiny dot of teflon plumbers' paste on the thread of the 510...
