The feeling like you're getting more is pretty much to be expected, and in my mind a benefit. As far as TH, did you change the position of the coil relative to the air hole? Ideally, you want it lined up as close to the hole as possible and both pointing up when you vape. Hope this helps

I don't think the lifespan really is shorter. I'm just really hard on attys. I could never get more than a week or so out of my joyetech 510s either. Thick juices and high power both tend to kill them quickly. I vape 70%VG and until I started on RBAs was vaping at 5V
