For those ya'll with Le Magister's, how does it handle high vg juice? I finally tracked one down and am quite pumped for it. The design seems like it would handle any thickness juice, but I've been fooled before. -

Volcano E-Cigs Lavatube 3 (DNA-40)
Perfect for the tinkerer hobbyist, but that menu system, holy smokes. It'd be complicated with several buttons but with a single button it's a hot mess. I'm sure it vapes fantastic after you take an hour to get your settings right. -
Why Temp Control?
A properly setup nickel build in a temp protection device eliminates the possibility of a dry hit. I drip between 25-30w(j on my m-class) and with the temp set to 425º I only really hit temp when the wick starts to dry. It's awesome, I can vape the wick dry and on to the next flavor with no... -
What RDA for TC?
My current favorite is the Marquis, but the Hobo v3 I have on the way looks to be perfect with the spaced two post design and small chamber. -

Not a clone, sure, I agree, but if you can't see the similarities, no amount of internet arguing on my part is going to change that. The Stratum was the first thing I thought of when I saw the D2 and judging by the comments I saw on Facebook, I'm not the only one. -

They both look really interesting, but, for me, only if they're under $100. If they're over, I would probably spend the extra $50 and get the Hana v4, where if I have something go wrong I actually have a chance of getting it serviced. I'm not gonna go so far as to call it a clone, but I will say the design is highly derivative of the Stratum. I'm okay with this as I'm in love with the Stratum and missed the one list since I found out about it, also it doesn't have TP, which is a must have for me now. -

I'm excited to see this one in action. I like the idea of separate ni/ti modes. My first vapes were Joye Ego's and an Evic was my first "real" mod, so Joyetech will always hold a place in my heart. -
DNA40 vs SX350j
IMO, the best thing the sx350j has going for it is user upgradeability. The board has been available for less than two months (I believe) and yihi is already coming out with features to fix some user complaints. Throw what you know about resistance out the window when dealing with temp protection. If you enjoy a vape at 30-35w and don't mind re-learning how to build with ni200, a temp protection mod is right up you alley... unless you you enjoy dry hits ;) -
