doesnt look like the SMY is using the chiNA40's but the miniVF certainly is.
Now that everyone else is taking it a step further by boosting their wattage output outside of dna 40s. I mean look at YiHi that comes in 60w and 120w with potential upgrades to boost even farther.

My guess, seeing the price and the specs, is they are both using the knockoff DNA board. I do dig the half-flask thingy though. I will be buying one of the cheap TC devices here soon, so I am interested in them all. Was about to pull the trigger on the Invader one, but with all the negative reviews, and issues I've been reading about on here, I have decided to wait it out a bit longer.

i think the negativity over the iunvader is exagerated to be honest. It is no more glitchy than the authentic DNA40s in some ways! There are a lot of posistive reviews elsewhere!!

Oh, I'm sure they are. But, the reviews seem to be split and there seem to be some issues reported on here. I mean for the price, I am sure it is a great device. I am just sitting back and waiting to see what all is coming out at this point. Seems there is a flood of these cheaper TC mods hitting the market, and I have this Mini M to keep me company for the time being.

Thanks for starting this informative thread! It's appreciated.
Definitely some new and different products.

Looks like the TC MOD market floodgates are starting to open up!

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next year or so. Even PBusardo has stated that it's getting quite interesting.

Well when it comes to this feature now becoming more available with mods you'll have to be a bit more choosey if you want to go this route. Some work beautiful, some don't, and some just rather fib a little just to get you to buy. Anyone can build a chip to boost wattage but it still a stretch when it comes to TC.
