Maintenance is the biggest issue when I recommend vaping gear to new vapers - a friend of mine wants the eRoll but I'm going to have to show him how to break the attys apart and clean them - not a big deal but smokers are used to pulling a cigarette out of the pack and just lighting up...
Also, try unscrewing the PT away from the MVP until you can draw easily through it (without hitting the button) then screw the beauty ring up to meet the tank and hold it in place. If you screw the PT down too tightly you'll cut off your airflow.
The gurgling is due to the atty flooding and that may be being caused by inadequate airflow - try unscrewing the PT slightly and drawing on it to see if that improves the vape - if so you may need a 510 airflow controller (or just get a tank that has one like the AeroTank or Nautilus).
I tend to OD on the nic whenever I get something new to play with - I'll puff away on it whilst I'm tinkering and then suddenly think 'whoa' and put it down for a while. Also, moving from one less efficient device or topper to a more efficient one can take you by surprise.
On the Green Smokes...
You may want to invest in an airflow controller then - some tanks with airflow holes cut into the bottom might be a little tight on the ProVari perhaps? (I don't own one so I can't say for sure).
What're you using it on?
I've got my PT2 on an MVP and if I screw it and the beauty ring all the way down I get no airflow - instead I have to unscrew the PT until I can draw through it OK then screw the beauty ring up to hold it in place.
