Protank II problem need help with coils please

I have been using the original Kanger Protank and have had no problem. Liked it so much so that I have several of them.I just ordered a Kanger Prpotank II. I thought it would be just as good as the original only improved. Well not the case. I installed one of the coils that it came with and it was D.O.A. No prpoblem I instalkled the other coild and it leaks allover the place. It also has a very tight drag and produces very little vaper. I noticed that the coils it came with are shorter than the coils on my original Protank so I switched to one of those and it now works fine.I had in the past purchased some replacement coils for my original protank and they were the shorter ones also. Is there a problem with the coils marked "protank/evo"?ThanksStu

What're you using it on?

I've got my PT2 on an MVP and if I screw it and the beauty ring all the way down I get no airflow - instead I have to unscrew the PT until I can draw through it OK then screw the beauty ring up to hold it in place.

The protank and the evod use the same coils. It's my understanding they stopped making the shorter post and are going to just the longer size. You should have the right ones either way. I have both an evod & protank myself with no issues.

You may want to invest in an airflow controller then - some tanks with airflow holes cut into the bottom might be a little tight on the ProVari perhaps? (I don't own one so I can't say for sure).

I didn't like the draw on my protank 2 so I opened the vent holes in the bottom up with a #60 drill bit. Never used an original protank but love my 2. I use the same coils in my evod, mini and 2
