I also got lucky to find a Gepetto in the classifieds. Jumped on it as soon as I saw it.
Can't say enough good things about the quality and function.
Messenger of Death
My Gepetto VV. The LED display is behind the battery door.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, I've got a better one on my camera, just need to upload it.
Phiniac tank w/ Boge carto.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep recharging when they show 7.2. 16340's are cheap enough to have plenty of spares on hand, so no reason to risk compromising the battery's health/lifespan by going lower.
Great mods!
I love mine as well (VV with the LED behind the battery door). I got mine from the classifieds, but I plan on buying one directly from the source as soon as I some more fun money.
I just picked up a Gepetto Art wood mod that takes 2x 16340 batteries. I'm running AW IMR 550 mAh batteries in it. The voltage indicator shows the remaining voltage for (I'm guessing) both batteries combined after pressing the activation button. So when fully charged it usually reads 8.2 I...
Hey All,
Can anyone recommend a charger for AW IMR 16340 batteries? I recently bought a VV box mod from the classifieds that takes 2x 16340 batteries and from what I've read the AW IMR batteries seem like they would be good fit for this application.
Would this charger work OK and charge well...
I don't really think that answers my question? I'm genuinely asking how you know that Apollo isn't having the stainless bodies done by another manufacturer? Do you work for Apollo or L-Rider? Not trying to be a sarcastic, I'm genuinely asking.
I'm just curious, how do you know L-Rider is building the body for Apollo? Any machine shop domestic or foreign could make a stainless steel tube given the specifications. If I'm missing something please let me know.
I had a standard black one on back order and called today and they let me upgrade to the SS version by paying the difference over the phone. Can't wait to get my hands on it :)
I'm one of those people that nicotine just isn't that addictive for. I've smoked for about 10 years, never tried to quit, but I never smoked more than 3-5 cigs a day at the most, and that was during college. Once I got out of college I cut back to maybe 3-5 a week. Some weeks none. Not b/c I...
The comments on that thread address many of the same concerns being voiced in this thread. High powered flashlights have been around a good bit longer than PVs and in a lot of ways are a similar design (low resistance component on one end of a metal battery tube). A lot to be learned from the...
Also from what I've read most of the ego failures have been of the "bottle rocket" type as opposed to the "grenade" type. While neither is desirable I think the actual sudden, grenade type explosion is what you'd worry the most about.
As someone who works in IT I can tell you exploding batteries sometimes happen (in laptops in my experience). You think a 900mAh battery blowing up in your face is bad, what about an 8800 mAh battery blowing up while sitting on your lap . What I can also tell you is that it's usually due to a...
Hi All,
New member here. Just got turned on to vaping from a friend last week, did some research and ordered an Inferno starter kit. Been vaping since Monday and loving it.
I used to be a casual smoker, 3-5 smokes a day, not too heavy. Quit a couple years ago, and while I've never really had a...
