How to get the most out of PT2 coils?

Possibly try without any flavour wick (that's what they call the wick on top of the coil) see if it makes any difference to the draw but you may get some juice spitting up the tube. What did you use to replace the flavour wick with? Cotton? Or silica? If you get some juice spitting up the tube...

How to get the most out of PT2 coils?

If you are using cotton you probably have too much in the coil. Don't forget the cotton will swell when saturated with juice so this could be "chocking" the coil so not enough airflow. Try less cotton. When you pull it through the coil you only want it to just be touching the inside of the...

On the drill bit or whatever you have made the coil on you have the bottom leg going down and the top leg sticking out to the side. I then put two wraps of cotton around the coil then bend the top leg down and continue to wrap the cotton around the coil so the top leg is effectively insulated in...

I think it depends on what coil your running. I build my own vertical for my emow mega at about 1.2 ohm and push up the wattage to around 12 watts fine which is my sweet spot have taken it higher no burnt hits just didn't like the warmer vape

    bvc rebuilding

Again not in the aspire heads but in the protank 1 heads I did have some success building a vertical coil and placing itin the cup the used cotton wall balls rolled thin and packed around the coil very tightly till the whole cup is filled from top to bottom around the coil. As I say the cotton...

    Could Vamping become adiction

Yes I am still a nicotine addict but that addiction is diminishing. I used to smoke 25 cigs a day. I now vape constantly, I started on 24mg nicotine then after a month I cut down to 18mg nicotine and now I am on 12mg nicotine in my e-juice. I can see as the months go on my nicotine intake will...

The iStick is a great little battery in my opinion, yes it has a few issues with the amount of power it throws out, dodgy 510 threading (I had to send one because of the 510 thread stripped in a week) But for size, battery life, portability it is excellent and when you get the right tank/coil...

    Rebuilding Protank 2 heads using F/T pre-made wicks...WHICH ONE???

I would suggest you watch this video from Rip Tripper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrvwOf13U-s He completly re-builds the coil and has good explanation of where the legs need to go. Obviulsy if you are using "pre-built" coils you don't need to create the coil itself. When you place the...

I have 2 iSticks had to have one replaced because the 510 threading got stripped in a week but the other two are holding up fine. As for burnt hits I have not had a single burnt hit when I re-build the coils myself to be honest I have not used a stock bought coil for months. Maybe the 28 gauge...

I rebuild my work colleague's kanger coils for him to a single micro coil with 28 gauge and wicked with japanese cotton. The come out around 1.6ohm and he vapes at a low volts setting on his istick and has not complained about any dry/burnt hits. For myself I re-build the kanger enclosed dual...

Aspire BVC Coils; wicking material a concern? (Curious)

I too was a little concernd about the wicking material uses in the Aspire BVC but was interested in the idea of a vertical coil. As I use Kanger EMOW Mega tanks I was already re-building my coils with KGD cotton so I decided to try and build a vertical coil in the kanger heads. Wow great vape...

I believe No Atomizer message means that the device cannot tell that their is an atty attached which would indicate that it is not touching the pin. I think it reads "LOW atomizer" if the coil is less than 1ohm.

    bvc rebuilding

I think it will be tricky with cotton wool balls because I have found that you do need to have the cotton packed quite tight unlike a normal horizontal coil where the cotton goes through the coil the cotton needs to be quite thin and not too tight through the coil. Did you watch rip trippers...

    bvc rebuilding

Are you on about rebuilding the Aspire Bottom Vertical Coils or turning a protank coil in to a Vertical Coil? I rebuild the kanger enclosed dual coils to a vertical coil and use Muji japanese cotton wrapped around the coil. Here is a thread I wrote on how to do it...

    New protank mini 3

If you mean the new enclosed dual coils they can be re-built but a bit of a pain in the a*se to do. I re-build them to a vertical coil and the vape is amazing. The first time you do it the easiest way to get the chimney off is take out the bottom pin and gromet and pull the old coils out from...

    emow mega coils

IF you fancy rebuilding the enclosed dual coils for the emow mega rebuild them vertical and wick with japanese cotton. I do this and the vape is amazing. I build the coil for about 1.2-.1.6 ohm. Here is how I do it...
