    Quick Eleaf iStick Question

Yep 1ohm is the limit. Likewise I do mine at about 1.2 - 1.3 vertical coil in emow mega and it is great, rocking at about 14 watts

At least...my vape has come along.

I have found that part of the fun is trying these things. All I can suggest is give it a go, build a coil for it and see how much better your vape will be, especially if you go down the vertical coil route and give that old Aerotank a new lease of life :toast:

I see your point about RTA like the Kayfun and agree they are true rebuildable attys and very good. For me I like the conveniance of my emow on my istick which looks good, nice and small and I don't have to waste juice if i need to change the coil or rebuild/wick it unlike a kayfun. Like you...

At least...my vape has come along.

I have found that stock coils can be a bit hit and miss with quality control, getting dry hits (burnt taste), flooding, gurgling, only lasting a few days before crapping out. I also find that silica leaves a bit of a nasty taste in my mouth, this might just be me though. When I re-build my coils...

    This Can't Be Good

Agreed, when I started vaping a few months ago I did buy what I thought was "Genuine" kanger t3s but they were not "genuine", the way the add was worded made me believe they were genuine. My bad I should have read it properly so now I only buy from trusted vape sellers own sites.

    rebuilding aspire nautilus atomizers

Regardless of make if a coil can be re-built I would suggest re-building it as the quality control of stock bought coils can be shocking. I only use kanger tanks to be honest and even though the coils are cheap, I rebuild them because in my opinion I get a better vape as I can build the coil to...

So my eleaf istick just arrived.....

The iStick is a great device I have two, well one at the moment the other I have had to send back as the threading on the 510 seem to have stripped in about 2 weeks, might just be a lemon. If you got a few hours free have a read of the main eLeaf iStick thread...

    Eleaf Istick

Yes using a 510 to 510 adapter can help save the threads. Only issue I have with this is it will raise the tank and I prefer the look of it sitting flush on the iStick. Even though it is not an expensive device and in essence a throw away because of non replaceable battery surely the threads...

At least...my vape has come along.

If you like the Aero Tank then i would suggest that you get in to re-building your coils if you don't already. It is a vast improvement on stock coils in my opinion. I have an emow mega and I am now putting vertical coils in it and my other protanks as everyone was saying how good the aspire BVC...

    Eleaf Istick

Totally agree, My first Istick threads stripped in 2 weeks have sent it back to where I bought it waiting for them to get back to me about it. Second Istick is holding up better just using a kanger EMOW mega on it with my own vertical coil builds and it rocks. Lets hope they sort out a v2...

Rebuild Upgraded Kanger Dual Coil to a Single Vertical Coil

Instead of clipping the legs after the grommet and pin are in place I "twist" them off. I saw this on rip Trippers video on how to build a micro coil http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xrvwOf13U-s It is about 5 minutes into the video

If you have airflow control I would recommend trying a Vertical coil. I do them in my Emow Mega and wow the flavour and vaper prodution is amazing Here is a thread I did on how to do them...

    Ptotank 3

Re the half empty have a look at this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/570412-six-mils-aerotank-mega-magic.html Not sure it it will work with the mini but when you go to fill it, take the drip tip off and use a cotton bud or cue tip and insert it from the drip tip end...

So I just rebuilt my first protank head....but...

You should be able to just pull out the cotton gently and re-wick without having to re-build the complete coil

Need Vinegar Alternative to clean Clearomiser (it's attracting flies!)

Some people have said that they use a steridant tablet (those little tablets for putting your false teeth in to) in warm water. Could give that a try,I don;t have a nautilus i use kanger gear myself and find a soak in hot water with a little washing up liquid is good enough to clean my tanks

    BVC coil

I have heard a lot of people complaining about quality control re the aspire BVC over various threads. Due to this and that I am a skinflint I have stuck with Kanger gear and re-build all my own coils. have just started building vertical coils in my old kanger heads and the vape is amazing. Can...
