    Pay the 250 bucks for a home inspection.......worth it's cost in gold. I was a realtor 20 years ago......and I saw people tell me they didn't need one....and I always advised one (to cover my asx). I don't crawl into attics, go up on roofs, etc. That is for the professional inspectors...
