LOL Yeah I'll tell you a bit of advice going that way. If you see a truck coming up fast just get the heck out of the way! I've been fortunate I've never once smoked my brakes although I've had them hot enough you could smell them. But I have seen many many trucks with brakes smoking like crazy... -

I'll let the local geniuses here fill in the details on this but there has been a few of them that had their springs slowly collapse at or around .4 Ohms. I'm thinking from your description it was a partial collapse and not a full cause you wouldn't be able to keep using it with a full collapse... -

Can anyone show me how the plunger button ones worked? Or I should say how the plunger itself is designed is a better question. I've been curious about that since the first pic of one I seen. Ingenious idea, crappy for pocket carry which is why I assume it went away but stylish none the less. -
