    Something is still wrong...

Your coil legs are really long, homie. I get really good results making them rather short, so that the coil just hovers above the juice hole on the deck. Also, your wick tails look a bit long. The best results I have had come from having really short tails on a medium tight cotton wick. If the...

    Woodvil customizing/modifications

That's the stuff. Wow! Shake the guy's hand for me if you ever see him again. That stuff is the sh**! It's a great preservative.

    Woodvil customizing/modifications

That looks incredible! Nice job. Since you stripped off the gloss, you might consider some of this stuff call Renaissance Wax (we call it ren wax). It is the absolute bomb and will give you a nice protective coating that will serve you well. It's used in museums as a wood protective, and I...

    Super-x. You vape unflavored, right?

I'm resurrecting this thread because I am looking to start going the unflavored route. I am starting to think it is ridiculous to be spending what I am on the juices that I buy, and I get the feeling that unflavored will appeal to me. I will grab a couple of flavors as well to maybe add a drop...

    Koh Gen Do in stock

Thanks Russ. Just watched your video after I read through this thread and did a search. This seems like a really good thing, like getting a non lumpy, consistent wick every time. That appeals to me. Off to order. You're the Man!

What's the advantage of this over the sterile rolled cotton?

    24 gauge Kanthal A1

I have been using it on my Pluid Reo for a month now. Takes a bit of time to heat up and takes a while to cool, but for low sub ohm coils, it is the business. If you want something in the .4 range you can still get plenty of coils and still stay nice and low. I love this stuff.

    I'v had it with suppliers!

You should definitely do some top caps. They would sell, if you wanted to do that, and would otherwise just give your mod a custom look. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

    Gray hands??

Oh I didn't process your original post correctly. You are actually getting aluminum rubbing off on your fingers? I have not experienced that at all. I just get a greying where my fingers hit on the mod itself, but not on my fingers. I took the finish on mine up to 1500 I think, but it has since...

    I can't believe what I did today

You are going to want a backup anyway. I run a separate flavor in each of my two Grands and wouldn't have it any other way. Glad you are enjoying it, and welcome to Reoville!!!

REO GRAND Review by someone who has done his homework

Killed it, Russ. As usual. Thanks for posting this!

    Gray hands??

I stripped my emerald green Grand and it does the same thing. You could buff it and clear coat it, but I am actually digging the kind of rugged patina that it is developing. It's my daily driver when I am at work and getting dirty and beat up anyway. It's starting to look like something out of...

Do you reach around and tickle it with your finger?

Pinky finger reach around. What is this I don't even... :/

    Badge an fat lady please....

Let me know when the juices match the batteries and the Reos and then we will talk about OCD. /keeps separate flavors for each of my Reos -_(")_-

Best method to blind squonk a Reo RBA?

Also, I might add that if you are using thinner higher PG juice then your chances of flooding and overdoing it are much better. It is key to keep your coil at the right height and your wicks trimmed. If your coil is sitting in a puddle of juice then it is going to underperform because it will...

Best method to blind squonk a Reo RBA?

It takes a minute to get right, but the learning curve is really shallow. Like a week or two. If your bottle is topped off, a gentle push is all it takes. If you see juice in the air hole, you are as wet as you want to be. That principle holds across the board. If you are half full or under...

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

These kits are absolutely the best thing ever. Running a .4 ohm 24g micro with cotton and the new kit, my stripped green Grand is performing like never before. It's absolutely nuts. Batteries lasting longer, RM2 hitting 100% perfect. Thanks for putting these together Rob.

How often do you replace your cotton and coil?

Usually re wick every 2-3 days. Coils basically last for as long as you want to use them. People that are re-coiling every few days are doing it because they like to make coils, not because they need a new coil. If you have a coil that is hitting the way you like, you can use it as long as you...

    One year without a cigarette!

I never thought that I would quit smoking. I tried vaping back in early 2012 but it just made me want to smoke more. I decided to give it another go last May, and despite a really rough first day getting used to how the nicotine ramp worked vs. analogs, and on 36mg at that, and dealing with a...

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

So I got both of the kits installed. Piece of cake with the videos. Thanks for the links. Question though- are we still doing the Noalox thing? The contact point is so much bigger with the new firing pin. Not sure if it is recommended anymore.
