    Something would have to be done to eliminate the problem of cleaning, no cracks or grooves to collect yucky stuff. Silicon or something similar could probably be done but seems to me it would take an ridiculous amount of work by whoever was putting the tanks together.

    I will add that usually when my caps come off it is usually by accident and is usually accompanied by juice running all over the place. Sometimes I take them off to clean, but if they were well sealed on that wouldn't be necessary.
