Rec'd BB passthrough today...
My unprotected green ultrafires charge to 3.3v. That gives 6.5v at the adapter, but only 5.2v under load (2.3ohm 510) on the BB. I think stock KR8s are usually 3ohm and 801s 3.5ohm. The mah is not added when stacking batts. You get the *true* mah of the weaker battery. I got about 3-4 hours... -

I'm going to try 'em on the charger that came with my original unprotected cr2s from DX. Might be a tight fit but I think they'll be ok. If not I'll go to plan b. Problem is I don't have a Plan B yet 8-o -

Blowing on your Drip Tip
Never had to, but gave it a try and blew a little bit of liquid out of the bottom of the atty. Won't do that again! I use 24mg PG 555 from a 6ml size sample bottle - I can see where if you're using a really thick liquid it could be a problem. 2 or 3 times a day when I blow out the atty, I run... -

The titanium disk is what pulls the voltage on a PV2 down to around 5v under load. The copper disk will not add the extra resistance. I suppose it depends on the dropper and the PV. After blowing mine out I drip 5-6 drops to prime. When the taste changes, I drip 3-4 drops. Almost double what I do with a Joye 510. -

Soft Plastic Drip Tips
Yes, it's the shape that makes 'em comfortable, not the material. They're nicely rounded on the end instead of hard edged like regular carts. The only reason I can see you'd need a softer material is if you like to bite into 'em. ;)
