Yeah, much nicer to use. Great if you don't get one that fries. I loved my Protege when the tact switch was working, now I never use it. Fingers crossed on the new ones coming out but given the reception the Pv2 'upgrade' switch is getting I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Seems like PS would...- lotus14

Thanks for pointing that out! Weird though. If they got the tops and they got the bottoms, what are they missing to sell the whole unit? :confused: Maybe the bottom doesn't come with a spring? lol. Little help here, Rob! -

If you had waited days you'd have gotten a Pink one - that's all that's left in stock! ;) I am also waiting to order some 1.6 ohm 510s. Maybe the longer bottom will be a moot point. I really hope these hit the sweet spot! :p -

6v is not the answer HIGH DRAIN CELLS is the answer!!
Using the above calculator it seems the no atty would pull anything close to 5.2 amps :confused: USB wall adapters rated at 2 amps seem to be able to power anything I'm aware of. -

The web site says "This is the new bottoms that are on the BB's." Does this mean that the new BB (entire unit) will come with these, or do they have to be ordered separately? Also, when do you expect to have smooth black BBs in stock again? -
