    The price sounds great for the Base Kit, though I can't imagine why it would be $20 cheaper than the Protege Base Kit since they're basically the same device now except the Prodigy is larger. There can't be a Bare Bones kit since no one has the adapters. Very strange. :confused:

    Just go my Ace/901 adapter today. Looks like the parts that would have to changed would be much more expensive to make than the SS housing. Then you have to press out the old and press in the new. With the extra labor I doubt you'd get much of a discount. My first impression is that the draw...

    Problems with the BB

    Getting my 3.0v batts tomorrow so that's good to hear - think I'd rather be closer to 5v anyway. My BB doesn't his anywhere close to as well as my *other* 3.7v mod, using the same batt and 510 atty. I cleaned the bejesus out of it but no luck. I actually get a stronger hit from my $14 3.7v...

    I think the new batches should have slots. They're making the manual batts without slots and they're very popular so making unslotted cartos anymore wouldn't make any sense. Hopefully when Drew gets ready for another production run he can just make a brass tip for each of the more popular...

It's really easy to pay too much for the exact model you could have gotten from another supplier. Or have...

    Altogether plain would not appeal to me at all. A simple PS logo like the Protege or grimmgreen's design etched in subtly would be great. Or the logo on one side and grimm's design on the other. You could make 'em all with the PS logo and add the design on the other side for those that want...

    You could send it in for repair. Also, a lot of people have requested that PS make 5v mech switches for the Prodigy V1. Steve will have to tell you if he can/will, and when they'll be available.

    Finally got my Protege!! Its not working!!!

    They're made long enough to use a protected battery if you want. I stretched my spring a bit and then put in back into the end cap. Works great. :)

    Nhaler, extremely bad service

    Single 3.7v batt and spacer: Cap loose = 3.7v 2 - 3.0v batts: Cap tight = 5v - Cap loose = 6v 2 - 3.7v batts: Cap loose = 7.4v - Cap tight = LOOK OUT! Don't know why you'd want more than 6v but if you wanna go for it.... And no the grant won't do that.
