anyone try 510 cartomizers?
Snap, crackle, pop! :D They vape very well at 5v. Just have to keep 'em really wet to avoid burning issues. I remove the white cap and toss it and use a drip tip. A cut down 901 tip works also. Rec'd BB passthrough today...
I agree! :D I just got a couple of LR 510's that I have been using for the last few days. I'm thrilled with the performance of the BB with the LR atty and a 14500 battery. Now I need to get some 18650's for my SB and I will be done with stacking batteries forever! I'd love to see Altsmoke... -

Bauway/SLB 510 Atomizers (?)
How do the DSE 510's compare to the Bauways? Anyone tried both? I'm tempted to get some since the Bauways aren't in stock (eta hoog?) but wondered how the vape and longevity compare, especially at 5v. -

Got My Replacement Switch and....
Yeah, sadly my beloved Protege has gone into the box as a backup to my backup's backup. I don't have arthritis and have strong hands, but rarely get a good hit from the new switch. New design cartomizers arriving today!
Personally I find that underfilling is much more of an issue than overfilling. I use the Taryn spin with a little jig I made. I cut about half the ring finger off of a cheap pair of leather gloves. Poked a small hole near the cut end and ran a single strand of heavy speaker wire through it and... -

No, they don't put out a LOT more than the KR808s, but they absolutely rock at 5v. :thumb: -

Quick prodigy V2 misfire fix
Same here. I've had so many problems with Protege switches that I just can't see buying another PS mod until they come up with a better switch solution.- lotus14

Consistent vape with LR attys?
They're quite consistent. Of course a fresh batt at 4.2v will hit harder than one that's dropped to 3.7v - regardless of atty - but the difference isn't particularly remarkable.- lotus14

Just got a KR808D
It works. Get two! Vaping on a 5v PT with it as I type :) The dual ports are supposed to be back in stock *soon* Got 2 of those as well. Got several favorite sitting places in the house and have one near 'em all. -
Rec'd BB passthrough today...
The LR 510 atty does rock. My first one lasted 10 days of heavy vaping. Hoping the next one does a little better. I think the price will come down. Given all the noise about 'em, more places will have 'em and it will get more competitive. I hear SLB is going to be making LR 510, 901 and 801s... -

Got 'em in yesterday. The charger that came with the unprotected ones is a very tight fit, but works. Hoog sez the Ad-108 charger will work, so I ordered one of those and a few more sets of batts. So far they work great with 510 and KR8 cartos (2.8 ohm) but of course a regular 510 atty trips 'em. -
V2 higher than 5V??
Chad has stated that the SB with 2 3.0v batts delivers around 5.1v under a 3.5 ohm load. What kind/voltage batts are you using that give you 7.45v without a load :confused:- lotus14
