In the old days we just marked sets with markers to be sure we had the right matched sets. There was no VV or micro-coils. For a harder hit you stacked batteries and if you were smart about it you were fine.
I still have my original(close to 5 years old) JoyTech eGo 650 battery and it still works fine. I use it as a stealth vape regularly. Not all eGos are equal, many are knock offs and junk.
It's good to have so many choices and starting points in the market. I still have my first run ProVari V1 and it still works perfectly and looks excellent even with being used out in the wild. I've considered having it updated to a V2 but kind of want to see how long it will last original. 4...
Give him an inexpensive setup and let him try it. No pressure on him, just let him see if he likes it. Then talk about money if decides he does. When he's ready he'll let you no if ever.
I tried to make an order with Fasttech. After 45 days they cancelled my order and refunded my money never explaining why they couldn't fill it, though they marked it ready to ship several times.
GGs were the hated on/elitest mod. The eGo was a huge step up. A mod that looked like a pipe bomb was really made out of pipe. VV was a huge advance. Slotted cartos in a piece of plastic tube held by grommets was a tank.
"They" as in politicians. The public in general that doesn't have a smoker/vaper in the house mostly could care less except for where it impacts them. Thus the "for the children" tirade the politicians use. They need John Public thinking about something other than the billions a day they are...
Convince someone a cattle prod is the new DNA2000 and to take a hit off it on video. I'd watch that. Videos that are just straight out funny and slip some knowledge in sideways. Too many think they are The new incarnation of 60 Minutes.
