Hopefully someone with absolute knowledge on the subject will reply, but I don't see how an electronic cigarette could cause an ignition. If you puff a lot on it, the atomizer could momentarily get very hot to the touch, but there's certainly no worry about flames or embers or sparks. When the...
Yeah, though I still love the smell of fresh smoke, I don't find stale smoke appealing at all. I used to hate it when I could smell it on myself or when I'd come home, open my front door and smell it. Since quitting, it's been very nice to not have any of that anymore.
Thanks for the info. My eGo did arrive today (thanks cignot!) and I went ahead and started using one battery while I charge the other up. So far so good and it's true what I've heard about these providing better consistency of vapor :)
Oh, one more question: After a few minutes of vaping, the...
I noticed one comment on that article mentioned some kids toys that use scented fog juice (which of course is basically what we're inhaling, less the nic). I did a search and was amused to find two such products:
Amazon.com: Wizard Stick: Toys & Games
Amazon.com: Zero Fog Blaster - Silver...
^ Beautiful "rants". I am so tired of the misguided outrage and misinformation campaigns. We really do need to slam them with truth. As hard as they fought against smoking is how hard we need to be fighting FOR vaping.
It's good to know I'm not alone in still liking the smell of smoke. I never crave cigarettes since I started vaping, but there's that nostalgic curiosity that lingers... What was it about cigarettes I loved so much? I think one day I'll have take a puff just to get it out of my system. ;)
Should I charge up the batteries fully or can I just start vaping if they have a charge? I don't have it yet, but it's on order and I'm expecting it today or tomorrow :)
I didn't see this on here anywhere, so hopefully I'm not duplicating a post.
My boss smokes e-cigarettes in the office. Is this safe?
While he doesn't totally bash the e-cig, he does rehash the FDA's misinformation. I posted a comment, but it's still awaiting moderation.
It's been over seven months since I quit analogs and I still love the smell of smoke. Aren't I suppose to be hating it by now? Or do former smokers always love it?
I'm also amazed at how completely natural it still feels to hold a cigarette between my fingers or in my lips. I still have my...
"Dirty habit"? "Gateway to addiction"?
 You've got to be kidding me.
If the OP is looking at the e-cig as a food substitute, they might want to consider Le Whif instead. But if someone really wanted to use an e-cig without any nicotine, I don't see any harm in it. A non-smoker...
I'm hoping it'll go the way of caffeine — available in medicines like Excedrin, in pills like NoDoz, and in a wide variety of beverages.
A girl can dream, can't she?
I think a lot of the stuff people experience when they start vaping are related to the drop off of smoking and not really from vaping. Those first few weeks can be pretty rough because you're likely to experience some nic withdrawal (despite using the ecig) and you'll be detoxing from all the...
It's nice that this kind of research has been emerging at the same time that nicotine is becoming more widely available in different forms. Maybe as medical science starts using cotinine we can eventually break through the societal barrier that has nicotine so tightly associated with the evils...
I've seen a TV commercial for an e-cig on late at night before (one of those companies that locks you into monthly shipments), so there's no rule against e-cigs on TV.
You can actually get national TV spots pretty cheap through google. Prime time network is surely way too expensive, but by...
