Exactly. Thats why I think it is a wicking problem. I have done that a few times and and still it vapes off the juice I put on it, gives off a horrible metallicy taste then the coils start to glow- Mrephunk

New developments in my scubagen problem :D . Looked reall close and my wick is not touching the center post No short anymore but the wire gets red hot and so does my wick then it just shuts down. The whole coil gets red at first, and then after the initial E1 error, it seems the wire closest to the posts glows red the really bright red/orange and the E1 errors continue. Checking the resistance on the provari it says its 2.5ohm resistance. The wick only seems to be oxidized from one wick...- Mrephunk

But they don't last as long right? I would have to buy new batteries for this anyway(all mine are 18650s) so I would rather buy the better ones than sink money into batts I wont use after I get the new ones. -
