    Battery usage question

No, I do not over tighten my RM2. I never have the cap on the RM2 when I attach it to the REO. Basically, the RM2 is finger tight. When I tighten the post screws, it almost supplies enough force on the RM2 to tighten it to the REO. I have had that happen before (tightening the post screws to...

    Battery usage question

I have noticed that sometimes they charge real fast. Typically they take between 1-2 hours. There have been occasions where they took a really long time to charge (more like 4). I purchased them from RTD, and I remember when I first got them, they took seemingly forever to charge. I am going to...

    Battery usage question

The charger is an Intellicore I4. The batteries are removed as soon as they are charged. Based on the documentation from the company, there is no "trickle charge",

    Battery usage question

Note, evidently, I was not very clear. Each of the three batteries is cycled daily. I do clean the firing pin, btw. ETA Having re-read the post, it appears that the batteries are good for 240 cycles? Since I have 180 cycles on them, it is not an unusual occurrence. Is the information about the...

    Battery usage question

I have been using a single grand exclusively for about 6 months now (this is my only mod). When I first started using it, I would get an entire day from one battery. Now, using those same batteries, I am going through 3 batteries per day. (They are AW IMR 2000 batteries.) My juice usage has...

The REO Lounge - Part III

I only own one of the old style cast iron pans you mentioned. My other ones are new(er). I conditioned them when I got them and have not had to do it again. I used lard for seasoning them. Now for some more info you may or may not be aware of..... Rust on a cast iron pan means that you put it...

The REO Lounge - Part III

I just heard this good news for Dennis..... The word "twerking" is to be banished in 2014. So, if you like the word, use it all you can till the 31st. (Note, they said only the word is to be banished, not the action. I guess they will have to come up with a new word for it.)

How does a kick perform on a reo grand?

Rob has announced that after the first of the year, he will have a mod that is designed for a chip. If/when the chip goes south, or you desire to run it without the chip, you can remove the chip and put a spacer in its place. (The way he said it, the spacer will be included). So, you can join...

    Somethings wrong

You said a .4 ohm coil. Check your spring. Several people have reported a sagging spring with 0.4 ohm coils.

The REO Lounge - Part III

I have tried a couple different dripping attys and have found that the performance of the RM2 is tremendously different. The juices do not taste the same on the dripper as they do on the RM2. I have tested and bought several juices that tasted fine in the dripper, but when I moved the juice to...

The REO Lounge - Part III

I am in the same boat. I have COPD, and use a puffer on occasion. (Currently about 5 or 6 times a year). Considering that the propulsion fluid for the inhaler is VG or PG (I do not remember which) I cannot see where your Doctors could have a complaint. But you never know. I hope it all works out...

What do you guys use to wrap your coils?

Yes, it works fine. The wick is movable, yet snug enough for proper wicking. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

What do you guys use to wrap your coils?

I spoke with DZ prior to ordering my jig. Since I was using XC-132, I ordered a 5/64 mandrel with mine. The XC slips right in once the coil is built and installed on the RM. Note that I build the coil, pre-burn it, compress it, and position it prior to putting my XC-132 inside of the coil.

How often do you change coils and/or wicks?

They are about the only ones that sell the XC-132. They are the only ones I have found. There is one other place that sells the XC-116.

RHP, VOIP does not mean you do not have 911 service. I have had phone service through Comcast for about 7 years now. I have 911 service through them. (Basically Vonage and Comcast are the same type service, just different companies.) So, it kind of depends on what type of phone service you get...
