The Echo Thread - Part 2

Mountain Vapor. He has the echomizer kit and the clearomizer kit. His kit has dual coil echomizers so just be aware. You may like the dual coils but I'd get some singles too. Northwest's 1100 mah kit was where it all began for me for the echos.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

Looks solidly built. A modders worst nightmare. LOL! It's tough taking yourself off the market. I have a feeling I'm going to explode and spend a few benjamins soon.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

808 battery with a 901 atty and cartridge. All this nonsense from the fact that we hated popping off the cartridge to top off or prime the atty. Gotta wonder if I still have a cart floating around somewhere.......I'm going old school. 2009 baby!

I have all three sizes. There's not much difference between 1100 mah and 1300 mah. Both usually last me all day.

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

pure speculation. Inhaling silica fibers leads to a nasty long term untreatable disease. The speculation is whether or not it's happening. The plus is, the coil doesn't gunk up like it does with silica. Silica gets as hot as the coil and crusts up the juice. I don't have that happening with...

    VapingZone Concentrated Alcohol-based Flavors Reviews...

that might explain why a lot of the flavors tasted totally different to me then described. But to date the B&M has been the only thing I had an odd reaction to. I just got in some hazelnut and it tastes musty and has a banana taste to it. A lot of the tobaccos I got had a strong overripe banana...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

I'm sure you have ce4s that are retired. The good news is they are all interchangeable. Take the rubber piece from another one. Save those parts in a little baggie, if and when you pitch one/retire one.

once you get past the version ones and twos... However I noticed hangsen had the 2.5ohm with whistletips and a few days later Smotek had them. I assumed he got them there (or they were the same ones hangsen was offering). I have liked those the best but haven't ordered new ones since. They all...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

We've been waiting for someone to try it. She claims to get it from the factory that makes the echo batteries for Hangsen. The only reason we've held off is because she lists specs (5v regulated) that don't seem possible and hasn't backed up the claim with any information and actually doesn't...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

so seeing as I'm using exactly the same bamboo, cotton and kanthal that Cyrus is using, I just rebuilt a ce2 using every precaution, even stopping to wash my hand a couple of times as they might get a little sweaty during the rewiring. Washed again before putting in the cotton and boiled, rinsed...

It's just a hs echo kit. Nothing new. Echo batteries matched with ce4s.

It's just a flat base. They are small. 1ml. They do fit 808. Dennis at Mtn Vapor knows what stuff is.

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

That's 95% right there! I've mentioned before to others that an inexplicable taste was probably me. Literally me. It's touchy though, no pun intended. Oils won't wash off hands without soap.....soap leaves a taste.....it's tough to do finicky work with gloves on and even latex may affect taste...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

soaked, rinsed, boiled...I've done it all. It takes about 3+ mls for the bamboo taste to go away. I haven't broken in a cotton string yet but I'm working t it slowly and it's going away. It's important to occasionally empty out the juice and start over or it will continue to be there for a long...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

It's not the easiest thing taking the wick out of a ce2 and stringing in some cotton but once you have it right, it's awesome and I think it's a great place to start. It's easier if you can make your own coils but I learned a lot doing that.

The Echo Thread - Part 2

could be just condensation down the tube. Any vapor not cleared out sits there and becomes condensation. It's more of a problem with auto bats than manuals as you can take a pull without pushing the button and clear everything out. But with autos, you pull and it gives vapor. Every once in a...

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

I'd give 'em a try and report. Not now....I'm pretty content. Bottom coils are so finicky but what is there to go wrong in a top coil? Simple and fixable small issues.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

those m3s look like updated versions of the elite 808 stuff. Like halfway between a slim and a fat bat. Lots of photos on the site but none with them attached to a battery. They do look rebuildable.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

Just imagine when I get around to putting my own coil in those things....... Still....gotta wonder if the phoenix line would be good in a stardust mod. Are the top coils rebuildable?
