torching the wick/coil in the cup doesn't seem to work as well for me. IDKY. I've resorted to blowing in the led part of the battery. It's not as efficient but it seems to get things back on track. Hard to see exactly how the coil is glowing backwards in a mirror for spacing and other adjustment... -

The unprotected have a slightly airier draw but not much. Other than that, they are all drip protected now and have the same draw. Those are good. I like the SmokeTek 2.5ohm (till it's time to rewick :tongue:) ones better. Flat tips and for some reason they come apart at the base easier than any other ce4+ I've used. Let us know. I was a little confused by the description so I'm curious to see what arrives and how it tastes. Are you removing the center tube? Before I started DIY, I was pretty happy with Northwest Vapor's juice. Mountain Vapor had good juice too. Both sell echo kits with echomizers or the ce4+ type turbo clearomizers. I'd start with the echomizers because once you get used to filling a giant horizontal cartomizer, it's less fiddly...- Charlz

It depends on your juice but on average a week or two. After that the coil gets gunked. There are many methods of cleaning them. Well...I'm on a new one now till I figure it out and not liking the harsh metallic taste but I'll muscle through. It's already going away after .5ml I have the ce2/ce4 mod perfected now enough to post a "how to". Takes 2.5ml. I'll post as soon as I go to lowe's to figure out what number o ring... -
