I had really good luck awhile back with just rolling the inner cotton diaper piece from a horizontal carto into a tube shape and wrapping a coil around that. But that was before this thread so I didn't believe it would work long term. Now I've been rebuilding my echomizers for a couple months...- Charlz

yeah, if I'm going to do it, it will be permanent and rebuildable so I can tuck coil tails into the tubes. I was just curious as to how much you can bend the hypodermic tubing before it cracks. Looks like it's tapered. Probably won't be attempting this until next week but I may order the... -

Just tried my first gauze braid. Tried to keep it loose but I think I braided it too tight. It's not working very well. We'll see what happens when it soaks for the night.- Charlz

The markup here or the high shipping costs there. Depends on how large an order you are making. And if you can wait. Most of my vendors here can and will tell me where they got it from which is a plus as I learn who makes the good stuff and who to avoid. -

I got some of that cherry balsam. 5% was overpowering and I put 2 drops of that in a 15ml FP blend and it still smacks you in the face when you open the cap. usually you see that on china sites. Typically there are two categories. Vgo is any high mah 808 whether it's auto or manual and ego is any high mah 510. The problem is the echo-e is technically an ego battery and then they seem to put whatever they think will get good hits on google in the... -

Underneath the coil is a silicon sleeve. next time it's apart try pulling up on the coil a little. It may be hitting the silicon. Cyrus, what about snipping those wicks so they just barely come out of the bottom of the ce3 and putting a tiny strip of that cotton diaper around it like a horizontal carto? In my head this fails but the things that fail in my head and I'm hesitant to try usually surprise me. -

No luck. I just can't grip the tiny carto shell hard enough. The xl I had had two clear orings at the base just like the echos. I have no idea where I got them but I was using them in tanks until I finally decided they were more trouble than they were worth.- Charlz

If you put back in the inner cotton filler, you can get a good vape session out of it. You're so close to popping the base off. It's so much easier than it seems. Of cource, the echomizers come apart very easy. If you tried all this and are ready to give up. You can take it apart and check to make sure the coil is perfectly inside the tube. If it wasn't wicking right, you will see burn holes in the inner filler. I simply reuse it by turning it upside...- Charlz

keep using the cool carts until you get it figured out. The second thing that can happen with horizontal coil cartos is the coil can be off center. (either through manufacturing or during shipping) Kanger horizontals are notorious for this and is where I learned before getting to the echomizers...- Charlz
