The Echo Thread - Part 2

Mtn Vapor, Northwest Vapors, Cropduster 901 are the three best for kits. For additional supplies Nhaler and Vapor Girl. Nhaler can be pricey on kits but usually offers hardware nicely priced. I still tend to stick with the first 3. Mtn vapor does have the best kit for the money but NW Vapors...

    Kanger T3 care and feeding?

That's good work. I'm still trying to grow that 3rd hand. It's that lip on the end of the silicone around the center post that gets me every time. Really want to get a good one going with cotton wicks.

    Kanger T3 care and feeding?

I've had good luck with the coils simply soaking them overnight in PGA and doing a dry burn. They clean up as good as new a number of times. Wiggle off the center post and you have clear access to the coil. T3s and tabacs usually have extra wick simply placed over the coil so if you don't have...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

In other news, the auto ego from Goodejuice is nice. Same pinhole center post that will be nearly impossible to flood as the one from Mtn vapor. The 1100 I ordered is the same size as the 900 from MTN Vapor. It doesn't have a silver band near the cone threads so it makes for a more seamless look...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

this edit is because you can't delete a post. So I guess I'll just rewrite it. LOL! Good job on taking apart the echo-e, Jeremy. It's not an easy task. I had to use the same method as the 808 but it seemed after 10 minutes of pounding with a screwdriver I went to check my work by screwing it...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

That's a great question. I may tear one apart to see what makes it tick just for you! BTW where were you finding them sans led? Vendors should be all stocked up again soon. edit: just saw your location. Have you seen any non-leds in the states? I have seen a few from overseas vendors and of...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

I'm still working with the Kanthol that Cyrus gave me a long time ago. He's busy becoming a Doctor so we haven't really heard from him in a while. So it would cost me nothing but time an a stamp. What I meant was, I couldn't take money but if I had warning, I could get to them in my spare time...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

It's a nice easy draw, isn't it? And you don't have to worry if you want to use an adapter to try something new. When my last one dies, I think I'm going to try my hand at soldering and swap out a sealed one. I don't want to make a business out of this. :) Let me know before you ship when you...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

That's what I should have sent you too, Johnnie. If I was thinking, I would have sent you a nice pre-made echomizer with kanthol and cotton wicks to see if you think it's worth the effort. Next time, maybe. I got lucky with my last order from cropduster. One of my echomizers ohmed in at 2.5...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

Tx, where did you get the evod? I don't see them in 2.5ohm in the states. (Maybe from one vendor I don't know.) I wouldn't mind trying a 1.8ohm but I'd prefer having it in 2.5 for my daily use. I do have the kanger MT3 from DV. It's the t3 but with a metal shell and slotted windows. Seems much...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

I think it was wordup that had the hard tips. But I went and looked and they don't offer the option between hard and soft anymore. I hope this isn't another great echo accessory that has vanished..... I'm going to email. Now I'm not positive if it was them or not.....too many vendors.....

these ones fit super tight. Opening the hole helps a lot. Not as much as a wide mouthed round tip but you can't grip the wide mouthed tips as comfortably.

The Echo Thread - Part 2

Grrr....tumbleweed has to chime in here. You can get hard plastic whistle tips designed for the 801. You have to pull off the filler part that comes attached but they boil and bend and can be widened very nicely with a screwdriver shaft and are the best whistle tips for the echomizers. That is...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

Los, how's that mini treating you? Does it pretty much fit all the way in a kuwako. (I'm still wondering how in the world she is claiming these little things are regulated 4.2v but we are seeing a lot of advancements lately so it's no longer inconceivable.) I think I may want one. I think I...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

I figured they would be the first. We may have good hardware soon for our echos. Even if they are super expensive. Time to start scouring the boards for those crazy sales they always have. The ones that make their stuff overpriced instead of jaw dropping expensive.

If you are looking to the 510 version, the echo-e cartomizers, for some reason they don't vape the same. BUT I haven't tried one since I found a rockin 510 auto battery. Also if you are a lr vaper, these bottom coils just don't keep up. The lowest I can go with kanthal and cotton is 2.2 but with...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

It is typical of certain companies not adapting their product for sealed auto bats. For those of us who've been here, making the switch from vertical coils to horizontal coils was like having a glorious beam of light shine down on us to the tada noise being played on silver trumpets. (Ok, I...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

And btw, Johnnie those clearos only have the cone thread connections, and don't have the 510 connection for the post so they can be used on the x2 if you still have one. Just so it's not a total loss for you if you decide to get one. I'd also be willing to part with a chrome 650 echo that...

Glad to see you back on the boards Tx. The mouthpiece is just a plastic horn. It's wider than an echomizer at the top so it looks weird but you could play around and see if some sort of rubber insert could make it secure. I'd stick with a hard plastic whistle tip that's been boiled and bent.

Discount Vapors has them. SAX Clearomizer Blue LED - 2.4ohms I'm not totally impressed with them. But I like the look they give to the kuwako so I will continue to use it on days where I just absolutely need the aesthetics it gives to the whole kuwako look. And his prices takes the sting out of...
